Our House is estate quality on two and a half acres. Very private and secluded, not visible from the road. It is adjacent to 90 acres of oak forest and vineyards. It is located approximately 72 miles north of San Francisco in Healdsburg, California's most picturesque and prestigious wine country valley in Sonoma County. Enjoy Wine Country events and entertainment year-round.
The main house overlooks the Dry Creek Valley. Our House is set approximately 30 feet above the valley and provides a totally private environment with a large 24 by 45 foot solar heated swimming pool and a luxury spa. The Jacuzz spa comfortably accommodates eight adults. The pool and spa are set in a resort like expansive lawn.
A grand stairway leads up from the lawn to a wrap around terrace. Enjoy vineyard vistas from multiple sitting and dining areas on the terrace.
The owners enjoy an open door "no appointment necessary" lifestyle in the country. Our house is fully equipped for this approach to life and entertainment.
Health and fitness enthusiasts can enjoy a walk, run or bicycle ride that starts at the koi pond and continues down the pea gravel driveway into miles of vineyards. Or, enjoy a stroll through the private landscaped grounds. Free-weights (five to 20 pounds) are available.
Weekly housekeeping included. More frequent by arrangement. Local catering service referral available.
Main house has a large fireplace and lots of aromatic logs for cozy, romantic evenings by the fire. Dining room table seats 10 to 12 guests. Fully equipped kitchen with industrial size gas burners. Full-size refrigerator and full-size freezer in main house. Full-size refrigerator in guest house.
Guest house offers individual entry for each bedroom. All bedrooms open to landscaped grounds. Comfortable beds with down pillows and down comforters.
Bathrooms have tankless continuous flow water heaters. Granite vanity counters. One of two granite bathrooms in guest house has double showerhead. |
