This is a new luxury townhome in the Sawmill Station development, located about 1.5 hours from the heart of downtown Denver. The map below shows that the townhome is excellently located in downtown Winter Park, Colorado, only 1 block from restaurants & shopping. It is an end unit with plenty of light located immediately adjacent to Hideaway Park, Vasquez Creek and the Fraser River hiking and biking trail.
This is the perfect mountain getaway! Winter Park is located at an elevation of 9,200 feet (2,804 meters) above sea level in the Fraser River Valley and is the gateway to Grand County, Colorado (including Rocky Mountain National Park). The Intrawest Winter Park and Mary Jane Ski Resorts are just a five minute shuttle bus ride away! (The resorts average nearly 350 inches (889 cm) of snow a year ... one of the snowiest locations in Colorado!). There is so much to do in the summer, including golfing, fly fishing, hiking, biking, skate boarding, rafting, horseback riding, while also enjoying the numerous music festivals. The townhome is a cozy, peaceful place to relax and enjoy this summer haven. You are surrounded by national forests, and there are activities for everyone!
In the winter, the free express bus to the Winter Park & Mary Jane Ski Resorts stops just outside the front door every few minutes. You can ski all day, take the bus 'home' to our beautiful townhome, walk to one of the many fine restaurants in downtown Winter Park for a great meal, and them cap off the evening by relaxing in your private hot tub!
It is a smoke free, pet free townhome. It is cleaned with environmentally friendly, non-toxic, green cleaning products throughout that are completely safe for you, your children, and your friends. It is also equipped with a 42' high definition LED TV with internet access. In addition, there is free wireless internet service!

We stayed at the town home for a Spring Break ski trip. The location was great with convenient shuttle service just outside the door and a great sledding hill in the nearby park. Rae Ann and Rich were great to work with providing lots of great information and even making a late night trip all the way from Denver to repair a very minor plumbing issue. The condo is very nice and the best provisioned property we have ever rented. There were 6 of us and everyone had plenty of room. We would highly recommend this property. Thanks Rae Ann and Rich for a wonderful trip! We hope to visit again soon.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Rae Ann and Rich, What a great get-away for skiing and relaxing! We really enjoyed our weekend retreat from the city and the kids! Your townhome is extremely cozy and comfortable, not to mention convenient to the Ski areas, as well as the supermarket. We really had an awesome time, and loved not having to drive back to town after a day of skiing and boarding! We won't hesitate to stay there again... thanks so much! Rae Ann - Can not tell you enough how great our stay was July 21-24. The town home is so beautiful and was very accomidating having 8 guests that weekend. It was so nice to leave the cars behind and take the shuttle up to the ski resort Saturday and Sunday for the Widespread Panic concerts. For the location, price, and pure beauty of the town home it has to be one of the best places to stay while vacationing in Winter Park. Thanks again for helping make our stay an enjoyable one!! About the owner: Our names are Rae Ann and Rich Dougherty. We are longtime Colorardo residents. Our primary residence is in the foothills west of Denver. The reason we live in Colorado is the natural beauty this state has been blessed with, as well as the marvelous weather. This is our only vacation property. We love spending time in the mountains and we really enjoy helping others share in this opportunity.
Why the Owner Chose Sawmill Station:
We purchased our vacation townhome in Winter Park for several reasons. First, we wanted to spend more time in the mountains. Second, we wanted a place that had LOTS OF SNOW! The Winter Park ski resort gets more snow than any other ski resort in Colorado except for Wolf Creek. Finally, we wanted to have a place where we could relax and enjoy the beautiful weather and scenery that Colorado has been blessed with!
