My daughters and I had a great time in this lovely home on Sea Pines. The home was cozy and beautifully decorated. The beds were extremely comfortable. This home is very close to bike trails and close to beach access. We rode our bikes to the beach each day and returned home to float and cool off in the pool. The pool is very small but served our needs. My little year old grandson enjoyed floating in it with his mom and grandma. The owners called us to make sure that we had everything we needed. I would recommend this property to anyone who likes privacy and convenience to the bike trails and beach.

The house had everything we needed for a great week! We loved using the bikes to ride around the island and the beach chairs came in very handy! The kids enjoyed the pool! Everything was perfect! Everything was as adverstised her but better! The beds really were comfortable! Thanks for everything!

Words cannot describe how wonderful our honeymoon was while staying in this home. This was not, however, our first time staying in this home. We had vacationed here a few years ago and simply loved it so much that we wanted to spend our honeymoon here. The house is extremely clean, comfortable, and welcoming. We had everything that we could possibly need, from morning coffee to great beach chairs to the refreshing pool and hot tub, not to mention the fantastic beds!! This home is perfect for couples and families. It is a perfect vacation home that provides you with all of the amenities of your actual home. The washer and dryer were terrific! MJ and Scott have definitely gone out of their way to make their home an island retreat for their visitors. MJ even made sure that we had a bottle of champagne waiting for us when we arrived for our honeymoon! Hilton Head Island is well worth the trip (12 hour drive for us). The beaches are amazingly clean and easy to access, the restaurants are second to none, and it is in driving distance to the great City of Savannah, Georgia. Trust me, taking a drive to Savannah will simply take you back to the Old South...breathtaking! My husband and I look forward to returning to Hilton Head Island soon. We will definitely be taking advantage of MJ and Scott's Southern hospitality on our next trip!! Thank you again for a wonderful and memorable honeymoon!

We had the great fortune of staying in this home during fourth of July week. We were quite comfortable in this home, and MJ and Scott have thought of everything it seems. My husband and I vacationed with our 4 year old and 11 year old girls, and my parents. There was something for everyone, and we were able to spread out into separate rooms or come together in the family room as we pleased. The home, pool area, and Hilton Head area was really relaxing. Plus, being from Maryland, the lizards (gecko's?) in the area were fun to spot and watch. MJ and Scott, thank you for your hospitality!

We traveled with 1 senior, 2 adults, 2 kids and a baby and this house was a perfect fit! The kids loved the small pool and the adults loved the hot tub. The house was VERY clean and comfortable. You will find that the beds are fantastic and there is a lovely blue reclining chair that every will want to sit in. There was a plenty to do including swimming, riding bikes, playing board games(provided), going to the beach, shopping and of course eating! We loved our time at the house and wish we could have stayed even longer. MJ and Scott were great to deal with throughout the whole renting process. You will LOVE this house!

House was as described...convenient, clean and comfortable. MJ and Scott were great to work with through the entire experience. Savannah is a great day trip from the house. Well worth the effort..such rich history, plenty to see and great food. Only suggestion would be a clear map and walking instructions to the beach. We didn't realize we were looking for a concrete pathway between houses. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Very beautiful and comfortable, well-equipped home for our family. We stayed a week and wish it could have been longer! MJ and Scott's lovely home is welcoming, bright and very clean. It truly provided us a perfect vacation! With two boys (ages 8 and 5) and Grandma along, we all enjoyed the pool and hot tub, great kitchen, bikes provided, games at the house and extremely comfortable beds. Great location and terrific hosts!

This was our family's third year of staying in the Hennessy's beach home and we really feel like family. We have always found the home to be wonderful retreat for our family. We enjoy the central location of the home, it's convenient to all activies in Sea Pines. Our teenagers are able to get around on bikes to the beach, Harbourtown shops or South Beach shops. We love the idea of being able to grill, swim and relax all in one spot. If you are looking for a location to get away and unwind, you will not be disappointed. Scott and MJ are terrific hosts.

What a beautiful home you have, we really enjoyed our stay. The owners couldn't have been easier and more enjoyable to deal with through all the planning and coordination, this was truly a weekend to unplug and relax with not a single concern or worry. The hot tub and pool in the back are wonderful, we really enjoyed riding the bikes they have around beautiful Sea Pines as well. We definitely plan to be back to stay at Scott & MJ's place, a real treat!

Our party of 6 (four adults and two small children) had a wonderful time staying in MJ and Scott's home. The house is well-represented by the photographs and prior guests' reviews. The kitchen was stocked with every cooking appliance or tool that one could wish for when preparing meals. The house, inside and out, was clean and in good condition (repair to grill cover noted by the guests who stayed just prior to us was made during our visit), as were the pool and jacuzzi tub. Beach access is a short bicycle or car drive away, and the Beach Club (dining, restrooms, etc.) and the community pool are not much further away. We also enjoyed the visiting the petting zoo and stables at Lawton Stables - just a short walk from the house. My only wish is that we'd had another week to spend here!

This house was the perfect size for 6 people. It was clean and many extras are provided- 4 beach chairs, 4 adult bikes, lots of kitchen accessories and small appliances (coffee maker, toaster, toaster oven, an abundance of pots and pans, plus all the utensils and tools you could need)! The pool is relatively small, but was perfect for the 4 boys (2-12 and 2-14) and they loved the hot tub at night. The drive to the beach club was quick and we liked having restrooms and concessions available. If you have never been to HH, you will want to check our Harbor Town and The South Beach Marina for shopping, entertainment, and dining. Overall the house was just what we expected and wanted. We appreciated the nice furniture, lovely decorating, and plenty of extra bed linens. MJ will make you feel very welcome and comfortable from the very beginning! The only issues we had was 2 of the 4 bikes needed to be fixed, but MJ got them fixed within 3 days and the grill cover needs to be repaired.

This is a lovely, clean little house. As others have said, many extras are provided- 4 beach chairs, 4 adult bikes, lots of kitchen accessories and small appliances (coffee maker, toaster, toaster oven, an abundance of pots and pans, plus all the utensils and tools you could need)! A roll of paper towels, a couple rolls of toilet paper, a few small "hotel" bars of soap, 2 trash bags, and 2 packets of automatic dishwashing detergent were provided. You might consider bringing more of all these things plus dish soap and laundry detergent. The pool is relatively small, but was perfect for our young children. Our 5 year old did need to wear water wings since the depth is between 4 and 5 ft. The drive to the beach club was quick and we liked having restrooms and concessions available. If you have never been to HH, you will want to check our Harbour Town and The South Beach Marina for shopping, entertainment, and dining. Overall the house was just what we expected and wanted. We appreciated the nice furniture, lovely decorating, and plenty of extra bed linens (if you have anyone sleeping on the trundle, floor, or sofa). MJ will make you feel very welcome and comfortable from the very beginning!

This was our first time at Hilton Head and everything about this house was perfect! The weather was in the 90's all week and it was so reassuring knowing that we could come home to our own pool without worrying about it being crowded. The house was fully stocked with everything you would need. Very private yet convenient location. MJ was very helpful and hospitable. Would definitely recommend and hope to get to come back on our next vacation. The only problem was we had to leave!!!

This home was exactly what we were expecting, and was perfect for our family of 3. Our 9 year old loved the small pool in the backyard. The 3 of us spent many afternoons in the backyard. We also ate just about every meal in the backyard at the patio table. Being able to grill using the gas grill provided was wonderful on vacation. MJ also provided great customer service. She was available to answer any question we had. Fresh flowers in the home when we arrived was also a nice touch. I also have to say that the mattress and pillows are the most comfortable I've slept on while traveling. Sleep is very important on vacation, and these beds and pillows were wonderful. During our week there, other than the pool and beach, we also enjoyed a trail ride at Lawton Stables, a day trip to Savannah, and some great meals out ... like Robert Irvine's EAT!

We went to Hilton Head for the first time during the week of the 4th of July. We just loved the little house on Pender Lane. Any thing and everything you could want, you will find in the house. Our biggest concern was not being ocean front, this was not a problem...we enjoyed the short bike ride to the beach every day. The bikes that were provided were perfect. We loaded up the baskets on the bike, strapped on the the beach chairs that were provided and off to the beach we went. The phots that are posted are what you can expect when you arrive...very pretty and up to date. MJ was very helpful and easy to get a hold of.

We went to HH to celebrate my wife's college graduation and my daughter's 21st birthday - she brought 2 girlfriends with her. The house was perfect for the 5 of us. It had all of the amenities - hot tub, pool, fully equipped kitchen. The bedrooms were extremely comfortable, and the living area was very roomy. A great house in a great location! MJ and Scott were tremendous to work with - MJ responded immediately to any questions we had, and checked in on us to make sure all was ok. We look forward to going back again!

Great family vacation home, nice neighborhood, the owners were friendly and quick to answer questions. The location was perfect, the golfers could take the car and a short walk or bike ride would take the rest of us to the beach, tennis courts, stables, our choice of pools, Harbourtown (great playground), the nature preserve, or just out to eat. Every day started with a trip to the stables (our daughter loves riding), and ended with the hot tub. Our kids, elementary age through high school, loved the freedom of so many choices close enough to explore on their bikes.

What a great home! We had a wonderful time. We have older children and they loved the house(hot tub a plus)! Everything was clean and lots of little things you need, but hate to have to bring(bikes, kitchen stuff, bath stuff). The house was easy to get to from Harbor town, the stables, the fishing ponds, and Sea Pines in general! The pool was great after a day out. The kids loved the lights out back, for a night swim. Thanks for a fantastic time, and we would stay again. The Long Island Gang

The vacation for us was to get away after the passing of my father and the home made for no worries you had everything you needed. Its nice to know people like the Hennsey's still exist. The relaxation of the walk to the Beach or sitting by the pool. We would recommend this home to everybody. Thank you for your great hospitality.

The house was fantastic. Having the bikes, pool inflatables, bike chairs and all the other amenities was such a plus. The TV's in all the rooms gave us all a chance to individually escape when needed. Not having to travel 12 hours with adult bikes, or strap beach chairs to the outside of the car was a pleasure. I love to cook, and was able to find every type of pot, pan, or utensil I needed. The Hennesy’s really aim to make their home a welcoming place.

What a perfect vacation home! At first, we thought it would have been nicer to be closer to the beach, until we realized we were centrally located to everything - just a bike ride from Harbourtown, South Beach, the Beach Club, some great shopping, the stables, the forest preserve... The home is so beautifully decorated that it was difficult to leave. The owners have supplied so many extras - temperpedic king size bed, temperpedic pillows, cable, internet, beach chairs (didn't realize how great these were till we got there), 4 bikes, board games, dvd movies for youngsters and adults, books to take along to the beach, a tiki bar, a putting green, a pool (perfect size for relaxing in). The list goes on. This was our first vacation on HHI and Sea Pines. Can't wait to go back. MJ and Scott welcomed us with a phone call, made sure we had everything we needed, and then called one last time to make sure we had a good time. It was perfect. My parents, my teenage daughters and my husband and I couldn't have been happier. My folks have been to Marco Island, Corpus Christi, even Hawaii and stayed in beach homes. This was by far the best. (The perfect weather in early June didn't hurt either).

What a lovely "home" away from home! Everyone in our party of 6 the first week to 8 the second, was impressed with the home and its amenities. (The children couldn't get over the televisions in every room!) It is very well appointed and is very bright and clean. The beach is only a short bike ride away. (And beach chairs are provided too!) We used the provided bikes on the nearby leisure trail to explore Sea Pines and that was great fun. Lastly, and most importantly, MJ is wonderful to work with. She answered all of my questions in a timely manner and is trustworthy!
