This property is very well maintained with an attentive owner. Everything was just as stated in the description and Connie's response time is fantastic. Very close to the lake. I highly recommend Connie and this property for anyone needing a true cabin experience.

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway.

I took our sons and my niece and nephew for a trip to Hot Springs. We drove all the way from Chicago to Mt. Ida and were so tired. What a relief to arrive in the middle of the night at the A Frame! It was so lovely and welcoming! There was plenty of room for all of us - 7 in all; and it was very clean and well maintained. Connie was available to answer questions and made us feel at home. We enjoyed the house, digging for crystals, and playing at the lake. It was like our own private lake as there was no one else there. The house was very clean and well decorated. It has a style all its own. At night we could see the Milky Way from one of the balconies - something none of us will ever forget. Thanks Connie!

We had a great time! ...it is great to have a "great" room so all 15 of us can be together. We enjoyed the quiet of morning walks to the lake....We enjoyed the Arkansas experience! .... We loved the vicinity and convenience to the lake. Lake Ouachita is beautiful!

The cabin is neat as a pin! THe walk to and from the lake is great. Drivers are kind to walkers. Quiet and relaxing is the theme! Put your dog on a leash when taking them out around the cabin at night, as there are lots of "critters" roaming around that invite chasing. :)

Rented only the big house. 4 women went crystal & diamond mining. Great fun. Gorgeous and very comfortable house, excellent location. All the amenities and comforts of home. Loved it. Thank you.

Thank you for providing a safe refuge for our family. I can not express my gratitude for all that you have done. Thank you for having faith, trust and compassion. So much so that you welcomed complete strangers into your own home, and stayed awake and on the phone with me while we were lost! You are one of those angels among us! If you ever need a safe harbor, my home is always open to you, or a visit to cajun country. We had a great time! The grounds are beautiful. Lindsey, Andrew, Anne-Marie and William enjoyed digging and searching for rocks. They didn't even care about the rain- went out anyways. I'd love to come back for a longer stay and under different circumstances. We all enjoyed lots of laughs watching Dummytalk. What a wonderful gift your husband has been given. It was hysterical. We really had a great time!

Connie, we had such a lovely time. I love all of the fall decorations. Each time I went into a room I spied soemthing that I had not seen before! My whole family was able to visit and all be on vacation at the same time. We will treasure the memories that we made here.

October 2007. My family really enjoyed our visit to this location. There were 13 of us and there was room for more. The main house was decorated for fall with so many cute items that everytime I went into another room, I would discover something I had not seen before. This was a great vaction! We would love to return.

WOW! What a hot week, but we had a great time in spite of the temperature (avg. 95-102) We had a nice time on the lake with our good friends who live in Crystal Springs. We also enjoyed the water park in Hot Springs. It was a great way to beat the heat! Your home was very nice to home "home" to every night. Our 3 1/2 year old loved explorying the woods and visiting the fish. The you for also being dog friendly. Bailey loved being with her family this week. Thanks for sharing this lovely home!

Had a wonderful time! One of our best family vacatin experiences in a long time. The house was well-kept and beautiful. We had 11 people in here and everyone was very comfortable. Highlights: kids hunting for crystals, late night cookouts around the fire, quiet reading on the porch.

June 9-16, 2007 What a lovely house! We really enjoyed our week here! Thanks for sharing your house. We loved having all the modern conveniences. We were able to fix dinner every night here at the house and the open kitchen and family room allowed us to have some great family time together. We hiked almoste every day and loved swimming in the lake.We also enjoyed visiting Crater of Diamonds State Park and Hot Springs.Hickeory Nut Mountain gives a great view of the lake and Blakely Dam was cool to see!
