Our home has a private boat dock, redwood hot tub, and is located in Tahoe Keys, a private, waterfront community laced with 11 miles of waterways and access to Lake Tahoe. Tahoe Keys is located within 15 minutes drive from Lake Tahoe Airport, and Stateline Nevada Casinos and Entertainment. Just 60 miles from Reno/Tahoe Airport.

Tahoe Keys private membership Club offers a large indoor heated pool and Jacuzzi, and a large outdoor pool in the Summer. Many tennis courts and basketball courts. Guest passes are available at a nominal fee.

Outdoor Living - southern exposure with a large redwood deck and hot tub.

Cleaning - is performed by professional housekeepers..its immaculate.

High Speed Cable Internet access is included for laptop users.

  • Amenities
    • Washer: Full size washer and dryer are located in the inside laundry room, upstairs hallway. Linens/towels washing are done during the departure cleaning by our housekeepers.

    • Linens Provided: High quality, color coordinated bed sheets, pillow covers, towel sets are all ready made before your arrival, just like a hotel.
    • Garage: Double car, locked garage is available for guests, plus two cars can be parked in the driveway. Garage is fully insulated, and has an electric garage door opener. More than 4 vehicles per occupancy is prohibited by SLT City ordinance.
    • Wood Fireplace: There is nothing like a warm fire apre-ski. The grand wood buring fireplace is located in the living room. Rustic stone face floor to ceiling. It is fully screened, and has a gas starter. We keep a modest stack of firewood (in the garage) for tenants.
  • Beds
    • King Bed (2) : One is in the comfortable Master Bedroom, ground floor level. Tommy Bahama headboard matches decorator furniture in this Master bedroom. Second King bed is in the upstairs large bedroom, with LAKE VIEW.
    • Queen Bed (2) : Two very comfortable hotel quality queen beds are located in two of the three upstairs bedrooms. Matching decor furniture, comfortable and relaxing.
    • Twin/Single Bed: The twin/single bed is located in the extra roomy third bedroom, that also has one king bed. This single bed is suitable for an adult or teen, or child.
  • Entertainment
    • Cable/Satellite TV (4) : Large 32 inch Toshiba TV with Charter Cable DIGITAL connection is located in the first floor living room, with DVD and video tape players. Three additional cable-connected TVs are in the other three bedrooms. Service includes Expanded Basic Channels, select bonus channels and On-Screen Guide. DVD rentals, including REDBOX, are available at Raley's Supermarket less than 5 minutes from the house. & Blockbuster is 5 minutes away.

Watch the boats go by or the stars come out in the crystal clear evening/night sky. IMPORTANT: The hot tub has a solid cover which is safe for adults or toddlers to walk on, when the hot tub is not in use. Pump switches and timer are in the garage.

    • Cooking Utensils Provided: The kitchen is equipped with nearly everything we can think of for a gourmet cook: Full set of cooks cutlery, mixing bowls, salad spinner and bowls, serving utensils, baking dishes, serving platters, meat thermometers, measuring cups/spoons, spices, etc!
    • Refrigerator: New 23 cu ft Whirlpool refrig/freezer with ice maker, plenty of door storage for milk cartons, beverages, separate veggie/meat compartments.
    • Dishwasher: New fully featured GE QuietPower washer with dual racks, separate utensil trays, multiple load and temperature settings.
    • Microwave: New, large capacity, fully featured GE Spacemaker with internal racks, multiple timing and heat settings, window, touch controls.
    • Ice Maker

    • Charcoal BBQ Grill: Covered, oblong BBQ PRO grill, with multiple heat levels, two large side shelves. Electric or chimney starter. Purchase briquettes at the local Raley or K-mart Supermarkets within 5 minutes drive of the house.
    • Deck/Patio: Approx 28 x 24 foot smooth TREX deck and patio. Fantastic view of the Sierra-Nevada mountain range, and Tahoe Keys waterways. Southern exposure for warm afternoon/evening sun. Shaded by large umbrellas and trees. Two round dining tables, and plenty of deck chairs. Two thick padded chaise lounges. IMPORTANT: The three patio gates at all lockable for toddler safety. (Bring your favorite baby-locks.)
  • View/Location
    • Waterfront, not Lake/Oceanfront. Ask for details: Our home is on the waterways and lagoons of Tahoe Keys. You can boat to the lakefront in about 10 minutes. The Tahoe Keys Marina is about 15 minutes by boat. Many families use canoes, kayaks, paddle-boats, sail boats, and powerboats in the waterways. Boat traffic is "no-wake" speed and calm.
    • Mountain View: Fantastic view of the Sierra-Nevada mountain range, and Tahoe Keys waterways. Southern exposure for warm afternoon/evening sun. Shaded by large umbrellas and trees. IMPORTANT: The three patio gates at all lockable for toddler safety. (Bring your favorite baby-locks.)
  • Communications
    • Telephone: A portable house phone is located on the desk in the living room, and a wired bedroom phone is located in the blue bedroom upstairs. We ask you to use your cell phone for long distance calls.
    • Broadband Internet: Charter Communications ISP is cable connected to a wired modem in the house. The rated speed is 3.0 MBPS. A CAT-5 cable is provided for laptop connection, in the comfortable office desk in the living room.
  • Other Amenities
    • City/SLT Permit 102204 Walk to the beach in 5-10 minutes. Please bring your suntan lotion, beach towels and umbrella.

    • Wheelchair Accessible (may have limitations): The Master "King" bedroom with full bathroom is located on the same first floor level as the front door, garage, and kitchen. One step down is the living room, office desk with laptop connection, fireplace, and dining table. The first floor arrangement is well-suited to persons with mobility challenges.
    • Kid Friendly: The sundeck has solid fencing all around and three lockable gates to prevent access to the waterways, deck or boat ramp, and sideyards. Please provide your own child locks. The hot-tub cover is solid wood, and is safe for adults or children to walk on, when properly installed over the hot-tub.

Why the Owner Chose Tahoe Keys

Our family has been vacationing at Lake Tahoe for two generations. It was finally time to invest in a place of our own. We liked the movie "On Golden Pond" where we could walk out the back door, and have our boat right there.

The Unique Benefits at this Home

The air at Lake Tahoe is clean and clear. We can see millions of stars from the hot-tub, the cloudless nights are so crystal clear. We enjoy the convenience of walking a few steps from the sun deck, down the ramp to the boat dock, and motoring out to the lake, to enjoy an afternoon of "tubing" or an evening of unbelievable sunsets. The shows, and gaming at Stateline, NV offer lots of entertainment for the grown-ups in our family. The younger set can ride bicycles on the flat streets of Tahoe Keys or go to the beach in only a few minutes. We are mostly summer time people, but often rent to the winter enthusiasts.
