Kelly, My husband and I want to thank you so much and enjoyed our stay again at this house. We had family to come and join us and they were very impressed. It is a ideal house to rent and so close to the beach. Our dogs also were comfortable laying around under the sheaded area in the back yard. This was our second time renting and plan on several more visits before the end of the year. The pictures are exactly like the home looks. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Again thanks for all your help and letting us check in a day early. It has been a pleasure to rent from you.

We just got home from a wonderful month at Las Brisa del Mar. Very well equipped home. Excellent location. Close to shopping, restaurants and of course the beach. I enjoyed 2 hour walks on the beach and my dog was allowed on the beach at that time too. We found the owners very quick to fix any small problems. The grounds and pool were well maintained as well. Would highly recommend this rental and hope to go back again. Even the weather was great!

Nice, clean, close to the beach

The listing didn't quite give the correct impression as to how close to beach access this property was. We have been renting houses for the past 3 years at various places (Isle of Palms, Hilton Head, etc) and this was by far the closest we have been to the beach itself. This house is an excellent price for a property in great shape. Our only comment would be, we needed more bowls - but we have a 3 YO that needed a plastic one (which we picked up at Kroger for $1) The pool is just the right size. The one issue we did have was that the pool heat had gone out the week before. The owner called to notify us of this prior to our leaving home, and did what she could to get us heat for part of vacation (and refunded the pool heat $$s for the days we didn't have it) All in all we were very happy with the house.

Owner response:We are pleased that this guest enjoyed the house and especially the proximity to the beach. Although it is never ideal for a major issue to occur, in this case the pool heater going out just prior to check-in, we thank this guest for their patience and understanding while we replaced the pool heater which meant they did not have pool heat for the first few days of their week long stay.

The location of the house from the beach is great. The layout of the house, and it's size was also great. However, the house is not maintained very well. Carpets were spotted, wallpaper peeling off, scuffed up dirty walls, all the doors were full of dirt and fingerprints. The deck and furniture were in need of serious power washing. We had to wipe them all down before we could even use them. Kitchen was also missing some, what we felt were some essential items, such as a hand mixer, and measuring spoons. The bedspreads looked as if they had never been dry cleaned or laundered in quiet awhile, spots and stains all over them. We opted not to even keep them on the beds during our stay. Also everyone complained of how bad the mattresses on their beds were for a good nights sleep. We weren't expecting the Hilton by any means, but it's obvious that this house is just a means of money for this renter.

Owner response:I am sorry that this guest had this experience but we were never notified of any of these complaints during their stay so had no opportunity to address them. We did contact the next renter to see if these issues were a concern for them and they said that everything was great; nice and clean. This review may have been the result of the pool having some dirt and twigs in it upon check-in which were a result of hurricane Irene. We had it cleaned within 24 hours of their arrival but they were not at all understanding of the circumstances of an act of God. Our other reviews more accurately reflect our level of attention to keeping a well maintained and clean vacation home.

A big thank you to Kelly for answering all my questions before we arrived. Brisa del Mar was big and clean. I was very impressed. We have special memories of Brisa del Mar because our six year old daughter learned how to swim in the pool. The most convenient thing about the house is the sixth bathroom that you can get to from the outside/pool. Me and my family will be back. Thanks again, Kelly!

Fun vacation

Brisa del Mar is a beautiful home and so close to the Beach. It has many great features but having a bathroom for every bedroom was one of the best. The kitchen had everything that we needed. Also, the tree by the pool was GREAT. Being allowed to bring our "Doxie" along made the vacation possible, as I wouldn't come without her. We already made reservations for next year. This is a wonderful property. It was our third or fourth time to rent the property and it worked well for our family. It is only a short distance to the beach--and of course, many golf courses are nearby. Grocery shopping is convenient, as well as several attractions for kids. I highly recommend.

Our family of 6 plus our dog enjoyed our second yearly vacation at this great home. Our 4 year old grandaughter was thrilled to be returning to the "green house"! This property is very clean and well maintained. The private pool is great as the kids can leave all pool toys right outside. We had the pool heated and feel it was well worth the extra cost to heat in April and May. We used the pool everyday for 2 weeks. Even if the weather was cool, the pool was warm. This property is a short walk to the beach, close to golf courses, restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, attractions, and several play parks. We would highly recommend this property to anyone vacationing in the Myrtle Beach/Surfside Area. We have already booked our 2 week getaway for 2011!

We had another great vacation (repeat visit) with three families, three kids (ages 3, 3, and 2) and our standard poodle. Nice open floor plan with large living room, dining room and kitchen made it easy to monitor the little ones playing while preparing diner, doing laundry, or just chatting amongst the adults. The house was nicely decorated and very relaxing. The kids loved playing on the beach in the morning and the heated pool in the afternoon. And with all constant activity, there was plenty of room in the house to get away when you just want some quiet time to read or watch your own TV show.

Hi Kelly, Just wanted to drop a line and let you know how much we enjoyed our vacation in Myrtle Beach this year - due in large part to the fabulous accomodations!! We were thrilled with the house and all it had to offer. There were 9 of us - 5 teenagers - and everyone had a marvelous time. From time spent in the back yard by the pool to great, refreshing, soothing walks by the ocean and everything in between - we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. My husband and I took our family on our annual summer holiday--I was in charge of the accommodations...oh boy! pressure!!..anyway, booked a week in the Brisa Del Mar home with much anxiety...it turned out wonderful! great accommodations for the entire family including our 130lb retriever! the bedrooms which include their own bathrooms was my clincher! the house is beautiful, and in a great location! don't hesitate to stay here, you will not be disappointed!

We truly enjoyed our vacation in Surfside at Brisa Del Mar. Kelly was very helpful with all of our questions and needs. The house was beautiful, the pool a wonderful plus and the beach just across the street. We will be repeat vacationers with Kelly. Our family was able to enjoy a reunion of sorts, celebrate a high school graduation, 16th birthday, 50th birthday, and a 72nd birthday all together at the beach. Thank you Kelly for helping us with providing a beautiful vacation home to visit.

Brisa del Mar is conviently located near the beach, grocery stores and golf courses. We loved walking to the beach in the morning to look for shells and swimming in the private pool in the afternoon. The house is ideal for large families and dogs, too!

Brisa Del Mar is a well kept, clean home in an excellent location. There was definitely plenty of room in the house for our multi-family group which included small children. The kitchen and living area are very spacious. The fact that each bedroom has it's own bathroom is key!!! The private backyard pool was a huge hit with the kids. We found Kelly to be responsive and appreciated her arranging the linen service for our stay. It was also very nice to have the option to pay a little extra to have the pool heated for the week. We very much enjoyed our stay and are hoping to return next year.

Our stay at Brisa Del Mar was excellent! The owner is very easy to communicate with and very accomodating. I was choosing the house for my family and some members of my husband's extended family and was thrilled at the compliments I received on my choice. The furnishings were on par with an upscale hotel and each family really had it's own retreat within the house...very private. It is very close to a beautiful beach. If we ever plan another Surfside Beach vacation, we will be giving Kelly a call!

Wonderful home with plenty of parking in a great location. Very roomy home, tastefully decorated, and just a few short steps to the ocean. Great setup for large family's. Our family and friends had a fantastic time. Spent most days at the ocean and afternoons in the pool and on the grill. Thanks for making a great rental experience!

Perfect place to stay. We had a great time. I would highly recommend this house to everyone, it is exceedingly large, and very clean, with a short walk to the beach. Perfect vacation house, we will stay there again.

We stayed in this home Sept. 2005. It was wonderful. There was more than enough more for our family and extended family. We spent every morning at the beach and every afternoon by the pool. The closeness of the shops, entertainment, and resturants made the home even more attractive. I, had never been to Surfside, and after this trip I wish I could call it home. Kelly's house made the trip! The best part is that inside - every bedroom has it's own Tv and bath. There are even extra TV's if you need them. Thank you for making our trip so enjoyable and relaxing.

My extended family and I vacationed in Brisa del Mar during the week of July 25th, 2005. Since I had made the connection and booked the house it made my vacation when everyone kept raving about our accomodations. We had a truly wonderful stay despite the 100+ degree temperature that week. The house was perfect for us and the rate was untouchable for similair places I checked. The pool area was far and away the most popular spot! Second only to the spacious kitchen. Surfside is a great area, perfect for families.

We stayed at this property the week of July 9, 2005. What a great place! Really close to the beach access and an easy drive to all the fun of Myrtle Beach. The house was better than the pictures show - really roomy and very well set up. The pool was great, and having a bathroom for each bedroom made shower time really easy. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this property to anyone who is travelling with a crowd. My siblings and our families all stayed together and had a blast! Thanks!!!
