Year Purchased: 2008
About the owner: Brian and Kris grew up and raised their family in the Eugene area. This Bear Creek Forest lodge style home is a reflection of their lifelong dream retreat taking in the unique flora and fauna of the Southern Willamette Valley and the ability to enjoy it right out your doorstep. We've always enjoyed nature in several capacities and found this location to showcase the natural beauty of wild Oregon. It's too good to not share with others.
Why the Owner Chose Eugene: We were very fortunate to find this property and purchased it right after it became available after 2 years of searching. We knew we wanted to enjoy the beautiful mountains, hills and valleys, and were immediately enamored by the forest and creek with wild lands while still not too far from civilization where desired.
The Unique Benefits at this Lodge: We had the privilege of beginning with bare land and freedom of designing the location and placement of the house for the purpose of taking in the best light, warmth, views and privacy. This is a very special piece of land with ideal orientation for the house. The forest is healthy with the intent to keep it growing. We enjoy the surrounding undeveloped land and beauty with the option of going into town if desired with extended stays.
