We were looking for a weekend getaway with family and found it at Serenity Bay at Lake Keowee! If you're looking for a beautiful home on a peaceful cove with a great view of the lake, Serenity is ideal for you. Coffee on the deck in the morning with that view of the lake was so restful. We enjoyed watching Saturday football on the HD TV and then grilled steaks on the outdoor gas grill on the basement patio. There's a nice stone patio with a small fire pit between the house and the dock. We built a fire on Saturday evening then proceeded to enjoy smores while we enjoyed the fire. We hated to leave Sunday. If you're looking a lovely home for a weekend getaway, this is the place!

We love this property! This was the second time we have stayed there and it is everything it promises. The dock, the home, the cove that is located on is all amazing! This is truly a home away from home for our family!

Great Weekend Getaway
Your home is beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. It was the perfect choice for us. The house is very well equipped for a rental home....I have never rented a vacation home with such a wonderfully stocked kitchen! I am a little of a clean fanatic as well and your home was spotless! Not having to bring our own kayaks was a very nice perk as well. All in all it provided for a wonderful quick getaway long weekend for us. The weather was great also and it is cooler (and mosquito free) than it is for us in Charleston so that was a nice break. Thank you. Our daughter goes to Clemson so if we are ever in need of a rental home for visits/ football games we will definately choose your home again.

Great Time at Lake Keowee
Great Time at Lake Keowee
My brother his two kids ages 12 and 15 and my husband and myself had a fantastic time at this well appointed well taken care of lake home! The house was very comfortable and well supplied with everything you would need. Even though it rained everyday we were there we still were able to get in lots of water activities before the afternoon storms. We rented a boat for a week and were able to dock it right at the house, we also brought a big relaxation station float and set that up off the dock and the kids had a blast with that but you don't need to bring anything cause they have supplied noodles and plenty of floats to hang out in the water. We were able to eat most of our meals at the house because the owners made it so easy by having such a well equipped kitchen and a great gas grill and all of the spices etc you need to put together great meals. The house is also in a good location to shopping and restaurants. Stay at this house you wont be disappointed, the owners were great to work with and extremely responsive! Would definitely stay at this property again!

Year Purchased: 2013
About the owner: The owners, Dave and Susan Smith and their children, Andrew and Sarah, welcome you to the Serenity Bay! We recently purchased our Lake house in June of 2013, and are excited to share it with you. Dave is a system's analyst and Susan is a fourth grade teacher in Cincinnati, Ohio. Andrew works in Indianapolis and Sarah is a graduate student in architecture at the University of Cincinnati. We enjoy biking and boating and the all around relaxation we get at the lake.
Why the Owner Chose Seneca:
We have been coming to Lake Keowee for the past 17 years to visit Dave's parents who retired here, but are now moving to Florida. We have so many fond family memories of our days at the lake, and wanted to get a place of our own to continue the tradition.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
We fell in love with Lake Keowee because of its beauty and the activities that the nearby area offers. We chose our house because of it's quintessential lake house feel, with many modern comforts and upgraded finishes.
