First you come to a very confusing parking situation. The property info seems pretty strict on the parking but doesn't warn you about the very steep drop off or incline. Definitely DO NOT drive a car. When you walk in the door, the smell of wax warmers hits you. I would not consider it a 4 bedroom. The room that has twin beds is when you walk in the door so I wouldn't allow my children to sleep there for safety concerns. The twin beds are slanted and looks like if you sat on them they would fall apart anyways so not an option for us. The pillows and pillow cases have stains all over them as did the towels in the upstairs rooms/bathroom. There was a hole in one of the bed covers with the insides coming out. It seemed like none of the bedding or towels had been updated in at least 10 years. If your looking for a place to party with your college buddies, it would be great. We made the best of it. It is very quiet and in the summer I'm sure the lake is awesome. It had great views of the lake and was peaceful. I've just never stayed at a short term rental with the amount of outdated beds/bedding and towels. Sam's club and Amazon basics have pretty decent towels and bedding for rental properties it would go a long way for guests.
