This beautifully appointed executive home is on the doorstep to Brisbane City. This beautiful home can cater for larger family groups in luxury. Each level can be used as a self contained area, so different family units can share the home but enjoy their own self contained living spaces. Flexible rental options to use as much space in the home as your guests will need.

The home has all the features of a modernised classic Queenslander. The comforts of today's living have not been compromised. There is ducted air conditioning throughout, (except in middle level), as well as ceiling fans in each room. Smoke and security alarms. Wifi internet available anywhere in the home. Push button wall radio/CD/ipod control to most rooms plus several Flat screen TVs are scattered throughout the home. Independent cable TV reception to both levels. Wrap around verandahs, private decks, large and small patio areas allow for outside Queensland living.
The home is a pleasant 10min walk to free ferry to central Brisbane or City Cat services.
Offering 2 homes in one. Total of 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms +3 sofa beds. All sofa beds are double inner spring and located in areas which can be set up for sleeping only, so you don't have to reset the lounge each day as there are still ample lounge spaces available.
Sleeps 7 in 4 bedrooms, plus double sofa bed. 2 bathrooms + powder rm.
The master bedroom boasts a large ensuite with walk in robe, sitting room (with sofa bed), small deck area and wall mounted TV. 2 other queen bedrooms plus 4th bedroom with twin king singles, allow for ample sleeping accommodation.
There are 2 separate lounges so the adults and children can enjoy their own spaces.
Large kitchen with dishwasher, ample storage and quality appliances.
Wrap around verandah with BBQ and outdoor setting, allow you to enjoy the outlook of the tree lined street. It is surprisingly quiet on the front deck for such an inner city location.
This level has it’s own wi-fi internet and Foxtel cable TV access and private entrance via front door with keypad entry.
The MIDDLE level is a converted triple garage. The double garage is converted to be used as a rumpus room with large screen TV for DVDs and games consoles plus an air hockey table. One lounge can be used as a double sofa bed.
The single garage space is separated with a wall and door to rumpus area. It can can house a single car and is operated by remote control; or is usually set up with a ping pong table.
This fully self contained home enjoys total privacy from upper level and middle levels with sound proofed ceiling. Generous living areas open to the private pool and BBQ area. Private entrance via side gate with keypad entry.
This level has 2 queen bedrooms, (one with wall mounted TV and private access to bathroom). There is also an alcove in the ample L shaped lounge area has a sofa bed. There is a screen provided to create privacy for this space if it is used for sleeping. The bathroom and toilet have 2-way access.
It has a smaller kitchen with dishwasher. Microwave/convection bench top oven and hotplates are supplied.
This level has it’s own wi-fi internet and Foxtel cable TV access and private entrance via side gate with keypad entry.

Simply an Oasis
Simply an Oasis
After a difficult and long journey, we arrived tired and humourless but once inside this beautiful home our spirits lifted. We expected the WOW factor, but the real Lambert House cannot be captured with photos. Four of us stayed for the first week just renting the top floor, and when the extended family and friends arrived for the next 5 days we got to enjoy the whole home. On the weekend we had 13 people. There was ample room for all. The teenagers took to the casual lounge on the middle level the smaller children watched cable TV in the upper lounge. There are THREE HUGE flat screen TVs and a couple of smaller ones in bedrooms. There were so many comfortable lounge and outdoor spaces we had trouble deciding where to relax next. The front verandah was our preferred place for morning coffee. With the beautiful tree framing our view of the passing cyclists, runners and students making their way to the nearby college. The evening wines were usually around the pool or on one colder night in the front formal lounge in front of the fireplace. As one of the first guests to have the pleasure to stay here everything was new and beautifully presented. The beds were really comfortable and the linen top standard. We were pleased to have our tech savvy teenagers along when Tim helped set up the inhouse sound system through my son’s iphone. We could have our music or radio throughout the home and each room had individual wall controls. Amazing. A great touch was the auto lighting of the tree in the evening and a lovely water feature came on each night, lit with coloured lights. The master bedroom is bigger than some apartments. Huge with sitting area, ensuite, walk in robe, small deck and we loved the king bed. One of the main reasons we chose this home was to be close to the city. It was a beautiful walk of nearly 10 mins to dockside where we could catch a free ferry to the city, or the must-do City Cat ferry that services a large section of the Brisbane River. A couple of times a few of us chose to walk over the Story Bridge instead. Great restaurants and hotels and importantly a supermarket, were all closeby. We didn’t use the city bicycle option, but next time we will. There is a bike station 2mins from the house. Jennifer was a great host whose obvious love for this house and attention to every detail contributed to the best holiday home stay we have had. We will definitely be back.
