Great location
I’ve never stayed in such an old house so I wasn’t expecting the toilets to be so sensitive and the water pressure to be pretty non existent. The shower water went off a few times while we were showering. But I’d recommend replacing the shower curtains. They weren’t that clean. The house was nice and the garden area was pretty. Loved having an off street parking spot. The house worked great for our friends and family!

Great House in Extremely Walkable Neighborhood
We stayed here on a trip for three adult siblings to visit NOLA with their 70+ year old mother to celebrate her birthday. The house is set up great for this type of group - all of the bedrooms have their own attached full bathroom, and even the living room has a full bathroom - which is a quirk that is obviously based on the fact that this property used to be a bed and breakfast (the rooms still have nameplates on the doors). But that means this house has a nice and spacious kitchen and extra room for big gatherings. Plus, Magazine Street is supremely walkable, with tons of restaurants within half a mile of this house (and more a short drive away - either by your car or by uber/lyft). I will definitely try to stay here on future trips to the Big Easy.

Great garden district place
Pros: great location, spacious, very clean, super prompt maintenance, lots of NOLA character. Off street parking was great. Coffeemaker broke and a new one was provided immediately, as was a fan for one warmer bedroom. Cons: water pressure in several bathrooms was nonexistent…showers were not usable and we had to wash hair leaning over tub. A couple of us lived in the lower garden district and we did not find this typical of old houses. The AC in all bedrooms reset to 83 F in the middle of the night…we learned that this couldn’t be changed so every night we woke up so hot and had to adjust thermostat at least once. Overall, great place—it’d be perfect if the showers were working and the AC stayed on all night!

Great House and Location
Loved staying in this house and area. Made me feel like part of New Orleans. It was in walking distance of a coffee shop, great breakfast and brunch place called Surreys, trolley was a few blocks away. Also ate dinner at Lulus and it was wonderful. All bedrooms were spacious and had great beds. Just a heads up about front bedroom, if you like dark quiet places to sleep this room isn’t for you. We didn’t think about it but it was still great.

I have been renovating homes and managing rental property for 20 yrs. I own several vacation home properties here in NOLA, & Austin, TX, Breckenridge & Salida, Colorado. I love to take care of people as they partake in the most important thing in life-- vacation!! This includes you business people too! My phone # shows out of state, but I live in NOLA!

Why they chose this property

LOTS of reasons-- beautiful building and courtyard with that old New Orleans feel, excellent location and neighborhood, gated parking, home has huge master suites, adjoining large baths-- gorgeous. I also have a boathouse in the Marina for monthly rent!

What makes this property unique

You are right ON Magazine street-has lots of restaurants/coffee shops/antique shops, and 5 minute drive to the French Quarter or Downtown.
I also have a 4 BEDRM home 2 blocks to the FQ with HOT TUB
