Sea Colony Beach and Tennis Resort, Bethany Beach, Delaware (within a three hour drive from Washington DC, Baltimore, Maryland, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania).
Our beautiful, oceanfront condo is located in Georgetown House 101, which is directly on the beach, and affords you a wonderful view of the ocean and shoreline. From our ground level patio, you are able to walk directly to the Atlantic Ocean and swimming pools; two elevators service the building. We have one covered reserved parking space and an unreserved parking space.
We have three bedrooms: a master bedroom (14 by 12) with a king bed and a master bath. A second bedroom (13 by 11) with a queen and twin bed. A third bedroom (12 by 13) with two twin beds. The second bathroom serves the second and third bedrooms and guests. The living room (15 by 15) has a large love-seat sofa and there is a full-size dining room (10 by 8). All furnishings are top-of-the-line. The kitchen is fully-equipped, with granite counter tops. Ceramic tile flooring is installed in all rooms except the bedrooms. A comfortable patio completes the accommodations and leads out to the promenade and beach.

Sea Colony is a world-class tennis resort that is currently ranked twelfth overall by Tennis Resorts Online. Tennis Magazine recently ranked it the Fourth Best Bargain resort in the United States!
In addition to our rental fee Sea Colony has a weekly rec fee of approx. $35.00 per adult paid directly to Sea Colony. approx. $12 off season. The recreation fee provides you with parking permits and a badge which allows full access to all activities including the indoor/outdoor
pools and tennis facilities, use of the gym / weight room facilities and spa/Jacuzzi.

I would highly recommend G101 for my family vacation. This condo has everything you will need for your stay. Its' location is perfect, you can have it all here. There is plenty of room for a family of 6 or 7. You can sit on the patio and people watch, have a sandwich at one of the many nice spots to sit. The owners of this condo, have graciously offered all of their own personal amenities to the weekly guests. You cannot believe how wonderful it is not to have to drag chairs, boogie boards, all kinds of g beach toys plus all +'s inside the cond. Give this condo a try, you will not be disappointed. Enjoy!!! We will be returning for our 4th year this summer.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

This property was the first beach condo that my family ever rented during the summer, and we've stuck with it for years. The property is perfectly situated for the pools and beach. The owners are delightful, and extremely accomodating! For instance, several years ago, I realized that I had forgotten to bring the condo keys after arriving (having driven several hours from home). The owners were tremendously helpful in assisting us. Our experience with this rental property has been only positive.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

I've stayed at this Sea Colony condo several times over the past five years and it has been a wonderful experience every time. The owners have supplied all the essentials and more - from a full range of kitchen appliances to the essentials for enjoying a day on the beach. I especially like that this unit opens to the promenade and the ocean, affording quick and easy access to the beach. The ocean breeze and sound of the waves make the patio a perfect place to read or relax. The condo itself is beautiful, very comfortable and quiet, with a sense of privacy that is difficult to find in an oceanfront complex. Restaurants, stores and bike rentals are available just across the main street and the town of Bethany is only a short walk away. There are many attractions within easy driving distance - outlet malls, movie theaters, kayak/hobie cat/windsurf rentals and lessons, fishing charters, etc. And Sea Colony has lots of amenities on-site, including indoor and outdoor pools, exercise rooms, etc. The owners leave great directions and helpful information. I've never been disappointed - this is the best place to stay in all of Bethany!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

For the past seven years we have been going to the same vacation spot. Its a blast. Convienent to all activities, restaurants, etc... Great that you walk out the door and are on beach level, because you never have to use the elevator. Description is accurate but place is actually better than it sounds. It is clean and welll maintained. Owners go beyond in all cases. I highly recommend the property.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, people with disabilities.

About the owner: It's time to head to the beach. The wind blows through your hair. The warm sun bathes your skin. Soft golden sand caresses your feet. The waves sing to a perfect rhythm and the trees gently sway against the breeze. If you love the sun and the sea, our apatment at Sea Colony is the right destination for you. So grab your sun tan lotion and your Frisbee and go frolicking to the beach 'The cure for anything is salt water -- sweat, tears, or the sea.'
Why the Owner Chose Sea Colony:
When we first saw Sea Colony we were impressed with the location, which enabled us to walk directly to the beach. We wanted the first floor to avoid having to take the elevator or steps to go to the ocean. The end unit provided a full three bedroom apartment, rather than two bedrooms and a den as in the rest of the building.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
We enjoy the safe family atmosphere that Sea Colony provides. We have a long and wide beach, that gets little public traffic. The underground parking is great for protecting the car. We have fully furnished and equipped our apartment, and it's great not to have to pack beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, etc. every time we drive to the beach for vacation. The unlimited long distance calls within the USA, as well as the free internet provided are great for keeping in touch with friends, family and work.
