This 4 year-old home is perfectly designed to share with family or friends. You will enjoy spectacular views inside the main house thanks to an open floor plan and walls of windows.
Glass doors open onto balconies, extending the living and entertaining areas. Family and friends will appreciate having private quarters (bedrooms and baths) in separate casitas built around the patio, gardens and fountain.
Contemporary architecture is melded with magnificent boveda ceilings. Big, comfortable American-style furniture blends with locally designed wooden pieces and rugs from Oaxaca.
Located at the top edge of an arroyo with an unobstructed view of an aqueduct, reservoir and San Miguel below, your vista extends perhaps a hundred or more miles.
The quiet is interrupted only by the incredible variety of birds catching the wind of the arroyo and by the famous church bells of San Miguel (soft and charming at this distance). The Botanical Gardens are next-door, offering miles of trails and a peaceful retreat.
If you are driving, we have a secure parking area for your vehicle behind our locked gates. If not, you are only a 15-minute walk to the historic center of San Miguel, and an inexpensive cab ride return.
You will have Two TV/DVDs (satellite with American programs), a stereo system for your CD’s, and broadband and wireless for your computers. All the beds have top-of-the-line mattresses and bedding and reading lamps.
The house has a water purification system. The bedrooms have ceiling fans. There are two gas fireplaces: one in the living room and one in the master bedroom. Gas heaters are installed in each of the casitas. And, there are two hot water heaters to ensure everyone’s comfort.
A maid and a gardener come twice a week. |
