Awesome girls weekend at the Keystone Lake House!

The Keystone Lake House get-a-way is fantastic for a weekend with your girlfriends. With no kids or husbands nearby, we ladies had an awesome time visiting, laughing, eating and drinking. The little store across the street was a treat with all the fresh meats. We cooked up a storm in the large, well equipped kitchen while watching the sunset over Clear Lake and listening to tunes. Tons of wildlife kept us intrigued and the views were magnificant! Hiking and visiting the nearby wineries, superb. Clear Lake feels like a million miles away but is really close to the Bay Area. Highly recommend.

Amazing house!

We stayed at this house over a weekend with a group of 12 people. I can say without exaggeration that it's one of the nicest vacation homes I've ever been in. The photos really don't do it justice. The "Great Room" is absolutely gigantic. You could host 30 people in there if you wanted. It's full of beautiful hardwood and large windows looking out on the lake. The deck and pier are wonderful. The bedrooms and bathrooms are all roomy and well-appointed with big beds. One of the bedrooms even has a spiral staircase up to a loft! Highly recommended.

We were greeted by the owners Sandi and Freddie a very energetic couple who demonstrated extreme pride of ownership with our welcome walk-thru. The house was immaculate and well equipped to suit our vacation needs. Each of 4 bedroom suites are unique and the craftsmanship throught the house is high end. We loved to entertain our guests both indoors and out and the kitchen was conducive to either. We look forward to returning again next year.

The Finch Family Reunion, 2010

What a perfect place for a family reunion! The kids learned to water ski and bate a hook. Some of us learned (reluctantly) how to clean fish! IF you like to cook, the kitchen was a dream. Evenings spent out on the back porch having drinks reviewing the days events, and planning the next days activities. And if the activities were a bit to strenuous...there was always the option to soak and relax in a big spa tub. Would we go back? YES!!!!

Family Reunion

We had the privilege of staying at the Keystone House last summer for a family reunion of sorts and were just absolutely stunned by the layout of this gorgeous property! Meticulously designed and appointed. Every room is a suite with its own personal touch and the optional suite upstairs is just INCREDIBLE........Words could not do justice to describe the views of the lake and the sunset from up there!!!!! Must see for yourself!! This home also has a very nice kitchen and appliances making meals a cinch as well as a pleasure to prepare. An open and airy greatroom and deck provided more than enough space for everyone to spread out and relax......or get together. Its owners, Fred and Sandi are some of the nicest people you could ever meet. If you're looking for a place to help you relax and just forget about all your stresses for a few days ......THIS IS IT!!!!! ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Thanks again Fred and Sandi for helping make this family reunion a very pleasant and memorable one that we will not be forgetting anytime soon. Will be returning in the summer.

We had an incredible relaxing week at the Keystone in June 2009! The home is very spacious, clean and the beds are very comfortable! Enjoyed beautiful sunsets on the deck! A peaceful retreat I would highly recommend! Definitely will go back!

Love, love, love the sunsets over the lake and the luxurious accommodations. The house was well appointed and the four master suites kept all our group HAPPY! Plenty to do in the area yet wonderful to finish the day with a gourmet meal prepared in their gourmet kitchen. Can't wait to get back to Clearlake. The drive from the Bay Area was a breeze!

This Keystone Lake House is not only aesthetically one of the nicest homes I’ve had the pleasure to staying in but also one of the most clean & comfortable ones. The feeling of relaxation when you arrive is accentuated by the open floor plan and tranquility that the water adds. The home is airy and there is plenty of room to store any vacation gear, party props, outdoor fun in the sun equipment and groceries you feel necessary for the perfect vacation. The large rooms make if easy to spread out, even if you happen to have a large group like we did (12). I look forward to my next opportunity to visit and introduce friends to this special home on the water.

We have stayed at this house numerous times now and we will definitely go back. The house is wonderfully warm and inviting, both in Summer and Winter. It is extremely comfortable with plenty of room to relax or have a gathering of friends. It also accomodates those friends very well. We have 2 children, ages 8 and 2 and it has served our needs - with kids beds and a crib with linen, there was no need to take all that with us!! We have and will continue to recommend this fabulous vacation home, be it for a week-end or a week.

We stayed at this vacation home over New Year's with friends for 4 nights and had truly and exceptional time! The greatroom is wonderful to entertain in, watch the sunset over the lake or simply read a book. Talk about peace and quiet! The bedrooms are comfortable and fully functional, all with their own bathrooms. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need! I actually think you could cook for the Army in this kitchen. We are amazed at all the attention to detail that has been done in this home. This vacation rental is a gem and we will definitely be going back!

We have soooo enjoyed our two stays at this wonderful getaway! Just hours from the Bay Area, but a world apart. Fred & Sandi have created such a comfortable vacation rental that you really feel like you are "home" on the lake. With a grocery-store/butcher across the street, wineries nearby and a great new dock for water sports you couldn't ask for more.

We have just finished the most perfect week at the Keystone House. Our daughter got married at a family property on Clear Lake just a mile away. We used the house for the east coast relatives, the shower, rehearsal dinner and Sunday brunch. It is the most perfect house to use in this way. Excellent facilities and lots of room for a gathering. Gorgeous views, wonderful dock, a kitchen to die for. Sandi Herrera was so kind and helpful. The Keystone house made our wedding trip perfect. Thanks Sandi and Fred.

continued and the Kitchen, it has everything you need, Honest. The Bedrooms are Huge Suites!, I kid you not, You will sleep like a baby. Also the kitchen is a Gourmet's delight; you will want for nada,not a thing, nothing. Also let me mention the Dining Room; It fits us all. The Great Room is spacious but we are either at the lake on the Patio, for Happy Hours : ) It is always 4:00 some where in the world, right! The Huge Covered Patio is perfect for lunch, and I mean Covered It is perfect. They I believe provide citronella candles; however I always try to find the pretty citronella Lemon scented candles, pretty ones in pottery dish, But we never needed them! The kids were either jet skiing or using the boat... plenty to do Water Skiing seemed to be the highlight for all who wanted to Ski Clear Lake is known for its glassy water, Hit it early in the morning, and again early evening... Well the skiers will find their rhythm ... ; Be ready your kids, well just try to get them off the lake. They will show up for meals... or not.... It is just a very chill gorgeous Home; Mini Mansion, or Estate The Property is well maintained, the entire Home is spotless, especially the Bathrooms; and the Kitchen, It is really immaculate. And the Property is huge, I personally was wishing it was my home, for well the entire stay. We found the owners Mr and Mrs Freddie Herrera extremely accommodating available for any questions we had before and even made themselves available during our stay. We did not find it necessary to call upon them however. I woul not hesitate to highly recomend this property to any family, groups of couples, I would like to do it again, We are watching the availability dates closely. I am thinking of so many dates and trying to coordinate the gang's schedules so we can do it; same time, same people. Well I can dream right?
