And with 3,332 acres of terrain, 94 trails, 21 chairlifts and access to your choice of cruisers, glades, steeps, terrain parks and halfpipes, you’ll have to come back for more. Grab seconds at our restaurants too; on-mountain at the new Elk Camp or Sam’s Smokehouse at the top of the Village Express chair, or in Snowmass Base Village at Sneaky’s Tavern adjacent to the Treehouse Kids’ Adventure Center. In summer Bike Snowmass features more than 50 miles of trails, primarily accessed via the Elk Camp Gondola and Elk Camp lift. Each one has its own distinct personality, scenic beauty and skill level. Take the Elk Camp Gondola and Elk Camp chairlift (Friday through Sunday) to stunning views and an amazing network of trails suitable for all levels of hikers, from beginner to expert. Pick up a map from the gondola ticket office in Snowmass Base Village and plan your route for the day! Elk Camp Gondola on Snowmass
Hop on board the Elk Camp Gondola with your mountain bike and experience Snowmass’ thrilling trail system. Sign up for a naturalist hike with the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies and get to know the alpine ecosystem (and its resident marmots) a little better.
