E Komo Mai and Welcome to our brand new tropical villa, "Kahua o Mali'o" translated in Hawaiian as 'Place of happiness, comfort, pleasure' in the Coconut Plantation Resort located in the beautiful Ko'olina Resort and Marina.

As residents of Oahu, we fell in love with Ko'olina know you will too. At our villa, located at Coconut Plantation, you will enjoy two fabulous swimming pools, hot tubs, a hammock grove, the hidden spa, a Zen garden, and just the ambience of living in the Tropics.

You will love the beach, just a five-minute walk from our villa, designed as four pristine lagoons, perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and excellent for the children. Most of all, you will experience the most beautiful sunsets in the world, --unforgettable and sure to draw you back to our island. We want your stay to be comfortable, pleasant and full of fun.

Our smoke-free villa is situated overlooking an emerald green lawn with the backdrop of coconut trees and tropical plants. Our lanai is furnished with a rattan dining table and wicker chairs for relaxation and perhaps having your breakfast, while catching the morning sun to start your day, or just simply enjoying the outdoors and tropical setting.

We have professionally decorated our villa eloquently with all brand new furniture in an island-style plantation theme. It's so 'comfy', you may just want to stay indoors and relax.

Our villa features granite countertops in the kitchen, wood/carpet/ceramic tile flooring. Our living room has two sofas and an armoire with electronic equipment to keep you entertained, even DVDs for the children.

Our master bedroom has a queen bed and large dresser, with an oversized shower and double sink vanity in the master bathroom. Our second bedroom has a queen bed and large dresser, while our den has a day bed (twin size). You will find our kitchen fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, brand new china, glassware, and utensils and small appliances for your everyday needs.

For outdoor fun, you can jog or walk the one-and-a-half mile trail that links the four awesome lagoons. For fine dining in the area, you can walk to the Marriott Ihilani Resort Hotel, or Roy's Restaurant, overlooking the Ted Robinson's 18-hole Championship Golf Course, providing a wonderful cuisine and the best fresh fish.

If you want to venture outside of Ko'olina, the Kapolei Shopping Center is only five minutes away, which houses a Safeway grocery store, fast food take-outs or local-style restaurants, a 16-plex Theatre, and even K-Mart. You must not miss a Luau when in Hawaii. You can walk to the island's best Luau at Paradise Cove, an event we personally take our visiting family and friends to.

You will enjoy our fabulous villa and we would like to have you as our regular guests. Bring your golf clubs and sunscreen; we will provide the rest, beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, beach towels, boogie boards, and beach toys for the children.

  • This condo was the perfect setting for a family vacation or just a romantic getaway. Its location on the island is perfect, you are about 20 miles from Waikiki(Downtown) and about 25 miles from the North Shore. I would reccomend getting a rental car because there are plenty of activities within a short drive. The Ko Olina area is beautiful, the condo is about a short 2 minute walk from the beach lagoons. In my opinion, Coconut Plantation is the nicest of the Ko Olina condo communities and the closest to the beach. The condo itself is furnished very nicely, and it has everything you need (full kitchen, appliances, beach towels, etc). Everything looks brand new and is maintained very well. The beds are very comfortable and the condo can fit 5-6 people comfortably. The owners go out of the way to make sure that you have a great time. The people of Hawaii also make this an enjoyable place to stay, everyone is very pleasant(a breath of fresh air from the mainland). I really couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

  • What a wonderful experience! The pictures on the website do not do justice to how nicely this condo is furnished. Upon walking into the condo, the immediate reaction was, “kids take off your shoes”. It was beautiful. On second glance, you realize the owners have obviously taken a lot of care to provide a warm and inviting place for their guests. You can tell they want you to enjoy your stay and have provided almost everything you could need to do so. Having stayed at the JW Resort prior to this visit, I knew the Ko Olina resort grounds were the perfect place for a relaxing get away with the kids. The lagoons are great for little ones to wade in and explore, the Paradise Cove Luau is the best around and although secluded, Ko Olina offers plenty to do. The condo was a perfect place for a family of four and allowed plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the evenings. Oahu is my favorite island due to the diversity of activities it offers; however I can’t stand the thought of staying on Waikiki. Ko Olina offers the peace of Maui with the activities of Waikiki only 30 minutes away. Take an afternoon and drive over to the North Shore, only 30 minutes away, visit the Dole Plantation and pick up fresh pineapple or just relax at one of the hundreds of spots around Ko Olina. I truly enjoyed my stay and I’m already planning to stay longer next time. Thanks for making such a great home away for home available to us Mainlanders.
