My wife and I stayed at this condo mid January 2011. It was everything we were looking for. Simple clean room with a comfortable bed to recover from days on the mountain. Short walk to the village and even shorter to the lifts! Highly recommended and a great value all things considered with the pricing in Vail.

My husband and I have now stayed here twice...Christmas in 2008 and early Jan in 2012. When we decided to hit Vail again in 2012, it was our first choice. We knew the location is GREAT, Rene is easy to work with and very dependable, and the place is clean, nice, warm and cozy. You are such a short walk from the lift and the town/shuttle. Cant go wrong!

From the moment we walked into this condo, we felt relaxed. It's a garden level unit, but it has a great amount of light, and the windows face the grassy, flowery courtyard. It looks professionally decorated, and everything feels welcoming. The full kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals, which was essential for us, and the shower was hot and had great water pressure. Everything was clean, and it was perfect us - 2 people and our dog. It is small, but everything we needed and wanted was there from all the cable channels we could want, to a super comfy bed, to a stereo, and plenty of places to just be. It was a great location for me to walk with my dog into downtown Vail and the community was completely welcoming as well. The parking lot was close to the unit so unloading was easy. I just wanted to stay and stay and stay....
Owner response:Thank you so much for these kind words. I love this little condo and try my best to make a comfortable & affordable sanctuary for those visiting the Vail Valley. Thank you for taking the time to write this review.

I played in vail lacrosse tournament last week and needed a place close to the field and close to the town. This cozy place was great and Rene was a pleasure to deal with via email and phone (I had snafu that I had to call her about and she solved my dilemma right away). The condo is a 2 minute walk east to the lax field and 4 mins west to the vail village, Red Lio, Tap Room etc where our team would meet at night. Fantastic convenience for me. Great Extra Feature: I forgot to buy coffee and was bummed that I would have to venture out in the morning. Looked in cabinet and it was totally stocked! Filters, coffee etc....again, thanks Rene.
Owner response:Thanks Joe. I really appreciate the comments. It means a lot to me. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay!

The pros for this condo are close to lift and well equipped kitchen. The studio is under ground and doesn't get any natural daylight (or have any outside space) which was a big minus. It also wasn't very clean and a bit smelly...The soft furnishing needs to be taken/ swapped to new and the place needs a good spring clean. We had the windows opened at all times and spread detergent softner sheets for added freshness and it helped some... For the price there are better value deals in town.
Owner response:I am very sorry that you were so unhappy with my condo. I do not advertise that the condo has great views. As a matter of fact I advertise that it is 5 steps below grade. It is not a full basement condo, but it is 5 steps below grade. I also advertise that the condo faces the courtyard. This is a very private and peaceful setting. I live in Vail and am very aware of the prices offered for other properties in Vail Village. I DO feel that my prices are the best in town. Vail Village is very expensive and I intentionally keep my prices just under that of other rentals.

If you and a significant other is looking for a home away for home, look no further. Me and Wife stayed in this beautiful, elegant Studio for 5 days and honestly we felt like we were staying with Family or our own little Condo! Rene is a pleasure to work with and she spare's no expense in making sure her guests are as comfortable as they would be at home! She thinks of everything an the fact that this studio is Modern, Cozy and located with walking distance makes this studio the perfect place to stay when visiting Vail Village!

I used this condo for a 4-day skiing weekend in January with my daughter. I did not know Vail before and did not have a car (came by hired car). The condo is in GREAT shape, really cozy, well equipped and has a very nice, large kitchen to gather and cook. Also, plenty of storage to put away all the ski equipment and clothes after a day on the slopes. The condo's best attribute though is it's location to both base stations, ski school and village. It's just far away to be quiet but only a 5min walk to any of these locations. One detail which should be mentioned is that it's in the basement floor, wo it's easy to access, gets enough light through 2 large windows, but not as much light/views as higher up condos. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and would recommend to any couple/3 people visiting.

We stayed New Year's weekend 2010 and we really enjoyed the condo. It was clean and convenient to Golden Peak. We walked right out the door and across the street to the Golden Peak lift. The condo had everything we needed when we got in from our days of skiing. Thanks!

Less than 5 minutes walk to Riva Bahn lift, 7 minutes to center of village. Very well equipped and clean. great wifi. Only problem we had was poor cell phone service (ATT) We would highly recommend this property.

I stayed here for a weekend in November with my two dogs and loved the coziness and cleanliness of this condo. The condo is so, so convenient and Rene was so accommodating. It is the best place to stay for one or two people and allowing pets takes the cake in my book. If there are any problems Rene will take care of them right away so just let her know. I am looking forward to going back sometime during the ski season!

This is one of the best places to stay in all of Vail. The location to the slopes, shops and restaurants is perfect. The condo is just like you see in the pictures - actually - even better and is great for a couple. We stayed 5 days and could not have been happier. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to stay in and cook. We will be back.

The condo was very convenient to the slopes, as well as to the shopping and restaurants in Vail. It was a very cozy condo, stocked with all the amenities that you could want. We would highly recommend it to any couple wanting a quiet place close to the slopes.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in late June, 2009. The location was perfect, 5 minutes walk to Ford Park; 2 minutes to Bridge Street. We only used our car once the whole stay. The owner was a dream to work with, and the condo was spotless.

Cozy and quiet. Prime location to the Golden Peak lift. Although we have been to Vail many times, we were not familiar with this lift. At the opposite end of the mountain from the Lionshead lift, it is way less crowded. This place is a good value.

My husband and I stayed here for 1 week in 2006, during the ski season and it was fantastic. The owner couldn't be more helpful and friendly and the actual condo is impressive. Everything here is top notch (that's Australian for "very fancy"!!) and so comfortable. The bed hugged me to sleep every night and the coziness of the entire condo makes you never want to leave for the mountain. I highly recommend this place and wish more of these places existed all over Colorado ski resorts.
