Thank you for allowing us to live in your wonderful home, if only for a short time. We enjoyed the lovely fall colors from the deck. We walked in gorgeous sunny weather. We loved the house and were very comfortable there.

What a great place!! We loved your home. The big yard for the kids and ping pong (Daughter vs Dad). It was so relaxing here and so much room for all of us. We loved the big kitchen too.

What another wonderful vacation we had up there this year. The boys had another year of "firsts". Nolan (6 years old)and Grant (4 years old) had a blast jet skiing. We can't believe what little fish they became in the water this year. I don't think they ever wanted to get out. Even Andrew (18 months) became quite a good little swimmer this year. We enjoyed blueberry picking, the carnival, and of course the Coast Guard ships and tours. Most of all we treasured the time we got to spend with Grandma & Boppa.

Thank you for a wonderful time in Grand Haven, Michigan. We all enjoyed the lake and our boys loved jet skiing. We had a blast at Mac Woods Dune Rides. Lake Michigan Beach was so much fun as well! Every restaurant we ate at was fantastic! Thanks for your recommendations.

We had a wonderful week at the Waterfront Cottage. We enjoyed lazing in the hammocks under the shade tree. The kayaks were fun, golf was great and we ate at several good restaurants. (This was our 31st year vacationing together.)

Thank you very much for a wonderful stay! My parents enjoyed relaxing on the deck and playing with the grandchildren. The kids loved playing in the sand, the water, the kayaks. The home is lovely. We can't wait to come back.

We had a wonderful family vacation. What an amazing back yard. We really enjoyed the kayaks and sitting on the back porch. One of our favorite memories was watching Zack & Graham play in the sand for the first time and splashing in the water. Everyone should go to Fat Chix Coffee at least once! Also Mahi Mahi Tacos at the Kirby House are awesome.

We loved shopping downtown. And had fun at the beach. It seemed like good weather Was always in reach. Of all the restaurants Our favorite was Dee-Lite. But we had good home-cooked dinners and made 'hobo pies' at night. We went to Grand Haven 9 and saw Super 8. Take it from us the movie was great. The kayaks were fun, The lake was so calm. We also enjoyed the board games and ping pong. We traveled to Pentwater and Ludington before, But Grand Haven remains our favorite. We went to a fashion show and an art gallery too. The vacation was so full of fun things to do. The entire trip we had so much fun, We could hardly believe our vacation was done.

What a lovely view and peaceful spot. I enjoyed wading in the lake and watching the swans and speaking with the fishermen, listening to the birds, etc. We had a lot of fun playing games and did a lot of laughing. We had lunch at Snug Harbor which we enjoyed with the view and lovely weather. Generally we try out different towns for our weekends away, but I would come back to Grand Haven in a heartbeat.

What a wonderful week we had again this year! We always feel so blessed to spend the week in your lovely home, even move so this year since we were able to enjoy many family gatherings around the table. Family from Grand Rapids, Detroit and Spring Lake all graced the cottage this week. We enjoyed lazy mornings over coffee watching the swans and the black squirrels playing and gathering food. Once again the family loves to come here each year to spend Thanksgiving together. We greatly appreciate your hospitality.

We had a very enjoyable time. We went horseback riding at Rainbow ranch in New Era (a must). We traveled north to Little River to the Casino. We went shopping in Grand Haven and in Holland. Our stay was wonderful. Very cozy, very warm, very inviting. Would love to come back again!

It has been such a wonderful week for our family. You have a precious gift of hospitality and we so enjoyed being the recipients of it through our stay. Starting the week off at Trinity Reformed Church was such a blessing. Here are our top 10 picks of the week: Playing in the sand and finding the baby turtle; Hiking the dunes @ RosyMound Park; The Petting Zoo; Mac's Dune Buggy Ride; Playing Games (Lots of them!); Swimming; Riding the Go-Carts; Cooking some delicious meals; and Playing music. Our only complaint about the Waterfront Cottage is that the week passed way too quickly! We loved exploring the bayous in the kayaks and we took advantage of the bike paths that seem to go everywhere. Thanks for providing such a beautiful location for our family bonding tome, and for anticipating our every need.

We had a wonderful week in Michigan. Our four children were in heaven with all of the fun activities to do at the house. Our two boys, ages 7 & 6 loved playing basketball and played many games with their Dad. The girls, ages 3 & 1, loved the water. What a great piece of property you have for others to enjoy! Thank you for your hospitality and for making everything so enjoyable for our family. We also had a few movie afternoons and we enjoyed your family collection of DVDs. The weather was hot but the shade at The Waterfront Cottage allowed for lots of outdoor fun. Our two boys, ages 6 and 2 1/2 had water fights down by the water. The washer toss game was a hit too--We are hoping to add one to our own backyard. The MacWood's Sand Dune ride was enjoyed by both grandparents and kids. We spent an awesome day at North Shore Beach playing & splashing in the warm water of Lake Michigan. Dinners out to The Stable Inn, K2 (try the Greek pizza), & Portabello's were all yummie. Evenings were spent listening to our beloved Detroit Tigers on the radio, fireworks, nightly bon-fires, and more s'mores than we could count. We truly hope to return to Grand Haven and the family-friendly Waterfront Cottage again in 2011!

We enjoyed The Waterfront Cottage and Grand Haven very much! The lake was beautiful and we had fun kayaking and building sandcastles and mermaids! You were very gracious and the cottage was so cozy--just like home. We toured downtown Holland, rode the dunes at Silver Lake, went bowling in Grand Haven and strolled around at the Feast of the Strawberry Moon at Harbor Island. Michigan is awesome and I'm sure we will visit again. Thank you so much!

Everyone enjoyed the cottage and had a terrific week. You have put a lot of thought into providing entertaining things to do and we took full advantage of the opportunities-table tennis and the lake of course. The kids had a great time fishing off the dock with good success, lots of bites and Claire caught a nice size small-mouth bass. The Dairy Treat was a big hit too.
