We arrived and found the home in EXCELLENT shape. The VIEW is undeniable / The SOLITUDE is great. In November, the windows were open, AC off ~ Ocean Breeze flowing through the house. SLEPT LIKE A ROCK! Some said beds were comfortable, but … I missed my FIRM home mattress. ;) The home had ALL the amenities needed ~ just had to bring the groceries. 2 chain stores were a short drive away. There are nice eclectic shops in Flagler Beach. Some nice restaurants and fast food/pizza if needed. We ventured out, finding an ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT Snow Crab place in Ormond Beach: Charlie Horse Restaurant. Steve has a great resource of known GOOD restaurants, tried and true by him and his wife. It’s GREAT having the owner with the direct knowledge and experience of LIVING where you’re STAYING. The BEACH is BEAUTIFUL: • One night, I heard a noise outside. When I checked it out around 12-1 AM ~ it was a Shrimping Trawler well off the coast. Using the binoculars there, it was intriguing to watch the men working on the rear of the boat, bringing the nets in with their haul. Watching the larger fish jumping out of the net areas and the bird swarming in the spotlights to grab a treat. It was a rough Ocean in the month of November, which is normal for the time of year. They had a SURFBOARD competition in town that weekend. It was pretty cool to go out to “High Tides at Snack Jacks” for a quick bite, being surrounded by surfers from around the world. What a GREAT EXPERIENCE!!! Then to see the surfers out on the water the next day ~ amazing what they can do. BACK to the HOUSE: What is wonderful is the BEACH is SO SECLUDED. There is really no public access nearby (but allowable), so usually the locals or others vacationers staying elsewhere are all that are around. Not ONE TIME was there anyone stopped, sitting or poaching our view or little piece of paradise. WALKING the BEACH for a mile each way is great. When the tide is coming in, there are always SHELLS to check for. We live in SE Florida, with the tropic waters and shells. There were PLENTY HERE that we haven’t seen before and kept a few to add to our collection @ home. WE TOOK THIS TIME TO RELAX & RECHARGE: Know that your hosts (and previous guests) have left a nice JOURNAL to share the experiences and local lore. THERE are TOUR BOOKS in the basket & SO MUCH to DO and ENJOY in the Flagler area. IF you’re LOOKING to ESCAPE the Rat Race and ENJOY PEACE; I highly recommend the home.

This home was absolutely fantastic - it just doesn't get any better for being RIGHT ON THE BEACH!!! Upon arrival we met the wonderful owner who was extremely helpful with Flagler Beach info. The home (we stayed in the top apt) is very well maintained & in the BEST location!!! Everyday was spent walking & swimming at the beach, while the evenings we enjoyed dinner on the lovely deck. We woke up to the most amazing sunrises, and even saw dolphins swimming by. The expansive views from inside the unit were just as jaw dropping as from outside! We loved it so much - the home, the people, beach and town, that we are hoping to move there in the near future. This home is the best value for a beach rental in Flagler - you will absolutely love it!!!!!

Wonderful! Even more beautiful than the pix. The photos were accurate but of course you cannot really capture the beauty of the ocean. Especially nice that there were several places to be outside and enjoy the view. We especially enjoyed the fish cleaning hut (immaculate like the rest of the place) on the boardwalk to the beach as we could sit in the chairs and watch the waves in the shade. We brought our beach umbrella but never used it as we lived in the hut. The beach is clean and since this rental is in an area of single family homes, we saw less than 10 people a day. Seat turtles nest here and we met the volunteers to take care of the nests. We had a full moon and saw a space shot at 4 am on the beach. Inside (we stayed upstairs--highly recommended) the sun room had a three sided view of the ocean and was very very comfy with huge wonderful big screen TV for nighttime viewing. The housekeeper who greeted us keeps the place spotless and the owners were ever so easy to communicate with. Wonderful wi-fi as well. We only had time for one din din out and thoroughly enjoyed it. I cannot say enough good things about this rental!!!

Location, location, location!

In the business world they say it is all about location. This duplex has the perfect location! The views are breathtaking! The beach is quiet and feels almost completely private. We stayed here three months and on most days only saw a few people walk by on the beach. The interior of the unit is much better than in the photographs shown here! The kitchen and bathroom have been remodeled. The bedrooms are furnished beautifully! This is truly a find in the home away from home rental market! Marineland is not something of the past, it is just up the highway and provides a wonderful experience for viewing and observing dolphins. High Tides at Snack Jacks is an excellent restaurant/bar operated by neighbors of the home. Martins has excellent specials. Blue at the Topaz Hotel is a gourmet dining experience. The pizza restaurant at European Village is great and there are interesting small shops there also. If you are a chain restaurnant fan, Outback, Ruby Tuesday's, Olive Garden,etc. are also available nearby as well as chain stores for clothing and accesories. This location is like being away from the city but with all of the city amenities within a five mile range. I highly recommend staying here!

What a week. Arrived on Dec2. Both of us got sick the second day..The wind was bad and the sea was angry(because of a weather front coming in).. What a wonderful week we had!!We sat inside and looked at the amazing ocean or went on the deck and felt the ocean spray on our faces. If we had to be sick on vacation this was the place.. It offered everything.Comfort, beauty, and even great neighbors downstairs. The location is close to places to eat, Publix, and yes CVS. We even found coconuts that had washed up on the beach from some island. My husband and i would not take anything for our week at this OCEANFRONT haven..thanks Steve and Lupita

The place was great! You represent the property perfectly in your ad. It was clean and well equipped. My family and I enjoyed our stay so much we are considering booking a full week next year. Highly recommended for a quiet, relaxing beach house.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The view is amazing, the beds VERY comfortable, and we never saw more than 10 people down the beach in every direction. We saw countless dolphins and enjoyed finding starfish, hermit crabs and various other things in the tide pools during our "low tide" walks. We even got to see sea turtle tracks and nests. We loved every minute of it. Thanks!

We have been staying at the Conways rental for the past 10 years. Every year we come they continue to exceed our expectations. They are easily accessable and yet we have total privacy. They seem to anticipate our needs and make provisions to meet them to ensure that we enjoy our stay. We have stayed at numerous resorts and bed and breakfast units and this is one of the few that we continue to book year after year. Thanks Steve and Lupita for becoming our safe haven in our fast paced life.

We have enjoyed a month long stay in this Flagler Beach rental for the past three years & cannot say enough positive things about the apartment, the location & the Conway's. The apartment is beautiful, modern, clean & perfectly maintained. The location directly on the Atlantic is beautiful. It is quiet, peaceful, safe & very secure. Steve & Lupita are kind, friendly & so easy to work with. We would highly recommend a stay of any length in this rental. Sharon & Bill Brewer

This is you 12th year as a vacation rental. We are one of only two vacation rentals in flagler county that is located directly on the ocean. All other rentals are across the very busy A1A highway. If you want to stay directly on the ocean this is the place for your vacation. Our duplex is about 50' from the waters edge. It was built in the late 80's before the construction set back line was moved Westward about 150. We have completly remodeled our duplex to make it as nice as any on the beach. They won't allow you to build this close to the water any more. You have an unubstructed view of the Ocean from the master Bed room and the Living room and can always hear the crashing of the waves on the beach. We have a pack and play for your use, a ocean kayak, beach chairs, beach toys and everything you need except your beach towels and sun tan lotion.
