Argyle Beach Cape Cod Home on the Great Lakes
- Minimum stay:N/A
- Internet:Yes
- Pets allowed:No
- Wheel chair accessible:No
Our home is a new custom-built vacation home, set on the North Shore of Lake Erie. It includes a private sandy beach that is excellent for swimming. We added a new beach deck for you parents (anyone!) to sit near the water. A three season raised balcony assures a protected and peaceful view of the lake at all times. The design inside and out is traditional Cape Cod with nautical marine accessories to add to this coastal theme.
Please, no pets or smoking allowed.
Did I mention the view!?! You can view the lake from two sides (large window views) of the home as well as from the master bedroom. This view is always changing with the islands off-shore and ships passing by. The layout is open with the kitchen, dining area and living area open to the lake view. At night a fireplace adds warmth to any gathering of friends and family. This is a non-smoking home which should assure that you enjoy the fresh lake breezes.
Less than two miles away is Holiday Beach Provincial Park, that is a key migration stop for migrating hawks, great place for a hike or picnic. There are many more things to do! Contact us for more pictures and information!

Good Morning Brian…again I can’t say enough about how beautiful your cottage is and how you and Laurie have thought of everything to make one’s stay so enjoyable. I hope you found the cottage as per your vacating instructions . We are hoping to return again next year and my daughter and her family are considering a week with her in laws as well. Enjoy the rest of your summer Brian and again thank you. CathyDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 4/4

THANK YOU! for an awesome week at your beautiful home. We (5 adults and 6 kids) enjoyed everything about our stay; the large, warm and welcoming property, the surrounding area's activities, the weather, the people, the wine.. It was a week to remember.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 3/3

We stayed in this beautiful beach home in August 2006 with our three children and both sets of parents. The home is spacious and beautifully decorated. The private yard and beach were ideal with small children. The owners were more than accomodating. Would love to return sometime in the future!Did you find this review helpful? This cottage is gorgeous! We stayed for 2 weeks with our guests from Germany. They were very impressed with its design, convenient layout for 2 families, cleanliness and direct access to the private beach. This compares very well with houses they have rented in Denmark. Thanks to Brian and Laurie for making our holiday so very pleasant.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

What a delightful way to spend a weekend with the extended family. This home comfortably accomodated 6 young children and 8 adults. The place is immaculate and in top notch condition. Beautifully decorated (I recognized items from Pottery Barn) and a well-equipped kitchen. We all enjoyed the accessibility to the clean sandy beach.Did you find this review helpful? This is DEFINITELY a "palace on the lake"! My kids and my in-laws and I had a wonderful vacation. The owners are wonderful people who have put so much thought into their home. They thought of everything! It is truly an honor to be able to stay in such an amazing place! We hope to go back some day! Thank you!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Excellent place to just 'relax'. Beautiful, drop-dead gorgeous home with a magnificent view of Lake Erie. Some wonderful sunsets were viewed, even though it was the middle of winter, it did not take away from the beauty of them. I can just imagine what they will be like in the summer. You couldn't ask for nicer owners, they had thought of virtually everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Everything but the food was supplied! We would definitely rent from them again. Thanks to Brian and Laurie for letting us spend time in your new home.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1
