  • Lake Promise was a perfect retreat for us to get a wonderful taste of the New England 'Winter Wonderland'. Lake Promise gave us a warm and cozy retreat with an instant gas fire, fun games, books and lots of videos to watch. We had great access to Wolfeboro with its artist and craft shops and nice resturants. We also made many trips to Gunstock Mtn for great family winter fun where we skied, snow-shoed and sleded. Kitchen is well stocked, beds are comfortable and the master bed and bath are very nice. Large downstairs play / TV room allows for plenty of breathing space. The neighborhood is very nice and the lake and beach across the street which we look forward to seeing in the summer! Nice to be able to park the car in the heated garage!

  • Thank you for the use of your home. We appreciated all that it offered including a large, comfortable and clean place. The surroundings allowed us to rejuvenate our souls and relax. We looked forward to returning to the house when we were out as well as just spend the entire day there! Would recommend for any size group gathering.

  • We stayed here this last saturday night for an overnight get away. It was so relaxing and couldnt ask for anything more. The fireplaces and jacuzzi was so relaxing and it was amazing to wake up to a nice snow covering. I would come back again and will be staying here again. It was only two of us but this place is huge and can easy fit a large group. I loved it!!

  • Thanks for the use of your beautiful home. It was clean and roomy and the master suite was elegant with it's jacuzzi. The home has everything from cable tv and internet to a basement full of toys for the kids. You thought of everything we would need. The lake is beautiful and the setting is private and peaceful. No one wanted to leave! We are definitely planning our next trip already and will of course stay with you again! - THANKS!

We visited in January and although it was rather cold outdoors we were wonderfully cozy sitting in front of the fireplace.
