  This condo offers an excellent location right on the ocean. You can see whales from your lanai in February. We loved it! I would not hesitate to stay here again and it worked out well for 3 couples staying together. We had to turn the two twins into a king bed but they were easy to move. The only thing I that could be better is the parking. If you have more than one car then you will likely be parking in the street. There isn't much visitor parking, but other than that I can't think of anything that I would change. Thank you for the great experience!

  We had a wonderful 10 days at this Kahana Outrigger condo. The location was perfect for exploring the hiking trails at Kapalua, and the snorkeling at Kahekili Beach. The view from the lanai is so beautiful that we made a point of having every breakfast on the lanai, and spending every sunset there with our mai tais. The take out food from nearby Dollie's Pub, and Honokowai Okazuya deli was delicious. Dinners at closeby Kapalua Pineapple Grill, Lahaina Mai Tai, Mala and Merriman's were memorable. The condo was so comfortable, clean, well equipped and nicely decorated. We were 2 couples, so did not use the 3rd bedroom with twin beds. It was so convenient to have the washer and dryer right there in the condo. In November, the weather was beautiful, so we did not need the air conditioning, and just used fans, of which there were numerous types to choose from. We would not hesitate to recommend this condo to friends and family. We will be back!!

  Oh my gosh, it's a year since we stayed in this amazing unit and I still dream about it at night! The moment we walked in (and it was a night time arrival), we knew we were in for a treat! The sound of the waves breaking on the beach just steps from our spacious patio couldn't have been a better introduction to this condo. My husband and I were there on our honeymoon with our 5 grown kids (I know, I know...on our HONEYMOON!?) and there were plenty of beds and bathrooms to go around. Having the laundry facilities right there in our unit was perfect and the owner even had a closet with beach gear so those of us who didn't bring snorkeling things didn't need to rent. The unit is far enough away from the huge hotel complexes that we felt like we were in our own corner of paradise but close enough to take part in the touristy activities if we wanted to drive to Lahaina. We took walks every day in our cute neighborhood and found the best snorkeling beaches tucked away up the coast a short drive away. Since we had so many hungry mouths to feed, we shopped at Costco and made several meals using their gas barbecues. The pool area was nice, the grounds are green and beautiful, and there is plenty of offstreet parking complete with mango trees! This place is a jewel!

  We had a wonderful time in our Kahana Outrigger condo, VRBO unit #47806. Being so close to the ocean, and listening to the waves at night were a real plus. The unit was a perfect size for 3 couples, and it was clean and nicely furnished. The grounds were impeccable, thanks to the capability of Bill, the very friendly and helpful groundskeeper. We certainly will be recommending this property to our friends, and hope to come back again real soon. Oh - the weather was PERFECT, and the rainbows beautiful! The James' of Smiths Falls, Ontario, and the Smiths' of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.

  We truly loved the location of this condo. Hearing the waves crash against the beach was the best! We would have liked to have known prior to arriving that the Air Conditioning was 2 window units. In addition, the furnishings and linens are in need of updating.

  We have just gotten home after a weeklong stay at the condo. It is beautiful-perfect! The location is perfect and it is in a very quiet/tropical setting. The groundskeeper worked every day and you could tell - the upkeep is great. Perfect for 3 couples. We would definitely go back to this condo and would recommend it to anyone.

  Our visit in January 2005 was out- standing. The pictures really don't do the unit justice; a virtual tour would be better. The unit is the closest one to the water in this low density, boutique development. The views of Molokai and Lanai are spectacular. We have stayed in Maui on many occasions; this was by far the nicest, best located place we have stayed. Management was very helpful & responsive.
