Did you say private theater?? Our home, named "Beach Music" stands out on Hatteras Island as one of the few homes featuring a private 18 seat movie theater with stadium seating, a 100 movie library and cable TV.
You will arrive with linens on your beds and towels in each room. In addition, this year we provide you with a starter supply of:

New for 2012, we have high speed wireless internet for your laptop.
Watch that classic movie, your favorite sporting event or play an XBOX game on the 10 foot diagonal screen. That's right, 10 foot. See how the old 54 INCH "Big Screen" looks after this. And....jump out of your seat when the couches shake to the explosions on the screen. You'll have to kick the kids out to make them go to the beach but you won't hear a peep from them on a rainy day.
And best of all, this home is oceanfront on the beautiful Outer Banks just a short walk over the dunes. We have a lovely in-ground private pool with free solar heat as well as a hot tub nearby the pool. The pool is open April 23 - October 28.
It has eight bedrooms plus a sleeper sofa in the den, four that are masters with private bath. Of the nine bedrooms, four are kings, two are queens, two feature pyramids with an additional twin that can sleep three and a full fold out couch in the den/tv room. The kitchen is fully equipped. There are 2 full refrigerators(one on the first floor by the pool and one in the kitchen) and 1 bar refrigerator in the den on the 2nd floor. The living room/kitchen area has ocean and Pamlico sound views. Our game room next to the theater has a pool table.
The expansive decks make this your ultimate vacation spot whether its an early spring getaway, summer fun with the kids or a fall fishing trip.
The most frequently asked question are what the total fees are besides the base rate. While we are the Owners and are happy to give you personalized information that others can't, we do use a local North Carolina agent to handle our reservations. This is important to you because they are there to sign you in, give you yor keys and provide any maintenance service quickly and effectively if you have a problem. Many VRBO's try to do this themselves, but not as well.
Through them, we have also eliminated most of the extra fees generally associated with Outer Banks Vacation Rentals. These include:
NO Security Deposits - Savings of at least $200! (And up to $500 or more!)
NO Credit Card Fees - Savings of 2% or more off your total rental!
NO Advance Year Reservation Fees - Savings of at least $50!
NO Early Check-in Fees - Savings of at least $50!
NO Accidental Damage Fee - Savings of at least $50!
The only added fees you will see is North Carolina tax which is 12.75%. There is also optional Travel Insurance which is 6% of the rental.
A 50% deposit is required with your reservation with the balance due 30 days prior to arrival.

This house was perfect for our family vacation. When you plan a vacation at the beach - this is the place! The location.....right against the oceanfront dunes, the private pool/hot tub, and the 18-seat movie theater was absolutely incredible (especially if you have children). This house was so accomodating that each and every guest had their own bedroom, bathroom, and privacy. I can honestly say this is the first vacation in which we, as a family, ALL wanted to stay at the house in the evenings, grill out, and just enjoy the several ammenities available, and avoid the routine "go, go, go" every evening. We had only one problem....upon arrival, the remote control to the movie theater was not responding....one call to the realty co. and 30 minutes later it was repaired (needed batteries).......how can you beat that service?!? If you are trying to decide between this property or another, the decision is obviously yours, however, I can personally inform you that this property will not disappoint in any aspect! To answer some questions you may have......... 1. The listing and pictures are very accurate. 2. The property was very clean and maintained. 3. The owners were very quick to respond to all emails and were very pleasant. 4. I have already recommended this property to others. 5. Avon, which is only a 10 minute drive away (South) has everything you may need that the small community of Waves may not offer.....a large shopping center (Food Lion), and a Movie Theater (4 screens). 6. Hatteras Lighthouse, as well as South Nags Head is less than a 30 minute drive....(positoned directly between the two). 7. This property is situated at the end of a "private drive" with 3 other houses in the cul-de-sac. 8. First floor has a refrigerator, microwave, washer and dryer, movie theater, full bathroom, 2 bedrooms and a large room with a pool table, couch and matching chair. Second floor has a nice large foyer area, 2 bunk bed rooms (1 which has a private bathroom), 3 bedrooms with King Beds (2 of which has a private bathroom), a full bath in the hallway, and a living room area with furnishings and a TV. The top level has a large kitchen, great room, a half bath, and the Master Bedroom with a King Bed (with a large screen TV) and a very large walk-in closet and bathroom. There is a large deck for all levels, and the top deck has a large sun room (completely screened in). 9. There are two grills on property and a basketball goal in the driveway.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, pet owners, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
