  ¡¡¡¡¡UNA VERGÜENZA!!!!! Escesivamente caro para los pocos servicios dignos que se esperan. El portal sucio, mugriento y sin luz. Es fácil ver alguna cucaracha campando a sus anchas antes de entrar. Nada higiénico, los baños mugrientos y abandonados. Y no tiene dos baños, tiene un baño y un aseo con inodoro y mini-lavabo. No tendrá más de 70cm de ancho por 120cm de largo en el que apenas cabes. Las puertas tan viejas que apenas cierran, los marcos medio desprendidos y descuidados totalmente. En la cocina hay un olor constante a gas, y no cocines, por que salta la alarma antiincendios, y apagarla no es fácil. Los armarios sin puertas y con tan sólo una barra para colgar tu ropa... si te cabe, por que tienen las cosas dentro amontonadas. Sábanas y toallas sucias... y no quiero especificar de qué. No sé si por casualidad pero estuvimos dos días sin agua, el servicio de reparación pésimo. Casi todos los muebles viejos, mugrientos, abandonados y deteriorados, incluyendo los de la terraza. Terraza en la que apenas puedes hablar del ruido de los aparatos de aire acondicionado de los edificios colindantes. Tuvimos un ratón en la cocina que hizo de las suyas. La habiatación de arriba, cuando llovió, se encharcó entera por que había goteras. La puerta de entrada al apartamento no la pondría yo ni en un gallinero, ninguna seguridad. Las fotos que aparecen en las páginas web deben ser de cuando se compró la vivienda hace muchísimos años, nada que ver con la realidad de hoy. UN TIMO... ni se te ocurra alquilarlo. Casi es mejor dormir en un parque, que en Nueva York abundan y son preciosos. Quedáis avisados. Por cierto, no te pases de la hora de llegada ni cinco minutos por que te cobran 50$ más... ¡¡¡¡ladrones!!!! Lo único bueno, la ubicación y el wifi.

  This is part of a a review originally placed on Flipkey in August 2011. Since then (so beware) the apartment name has been changed from Lexington Dream to Lexington Avenue Loft or Midtown Terrace It's the one described as being on Lexington and 35th with the red sofas in the photos. As far as I can judge 212 suites is nothing but a rip-off, they put you up in filthy squalid accommodation and delight in it. They also plant dozens of fake reviews in attempt to hide the genuine ones. Here's the first part of what I wrote then: This apartment is not on Lexington avenue at all - it is on East 35th street, in a rather unpleasant-looking building. We were shown around the apartment by the woman who had apparently been cleaning it in preparation for our arrival. My wife was not happy with the cleanliness of the apartment and asked me to postpone paying the balance of Usd2,800 until we had thoroughly checked it; foolishly however I went ahead and paid the balance in cash. In the next hour we discovered that the appartment was not just a bit dirty, it was utterly filthy. The following is the not-exhautive list I emailed to the property manager, Daniel Silverman: 1) Staircase landing outside apartment door - very dirty , clearly not been vacuumed for months 2) W.C. Very poor state of repair generally with 2 light sockets with no light bulb, and visible dirt on the floor 3) Bathroom - generally dirty, with hair and dental floss visible on floor, one light globe missing from socket 4) First bedroom - main light switch not working, control knob missing from dimmer, light cover hanging, ceiling recess very dirty and showing signs of water ingress 5) Kitchen Kettle rusted and with brown debris in the bottom Cooker not been properly cleaned for months Items in cupboard under sink just thrown in Rubbish piled up on top of kitchen cupboard No matches to light cooker, or teatowels provided 4) Passage - old stain disfiguring floor - when we tried to use one of the electrical sockets in the passageway large sparks were emitted 5) Living room - Electrical, TV and router cables jumbled up behind sofa Sofa is filthy and stained - it looks like it has never been cleaned 6) Terrace - broken glass vase just tucked into corner cigarette butts in gaps between timbers fly screen propped against wall various pieces of wood and other garbage piled into recess The full review is at http://www.flipkey.com/manhattan-condo-rentals/p100712/

  Thanks very much place was great ! This flat was very clean upon arrival and very well located. There is a gourmet supermarket around the corner, great restaurants and close to Midtown Attractions. Would definitely recommend to friends and family ! The bad is that the street is a bit busy but we faced the back of the apartment so not such a big deal but I imagined quieter street. Highly recommended :-)

  We loved this apartment ! It was a group of 8, 5 of them children aged 11 to 14. In the past, we had stayed in mid-town at a typical hotel, however we had elected to get a different NY experience. We were not disappointed.The apartment was really perfect for our needs. Britney was very accommodating and responsive.

  I cannot see how so many positives could have been legitimately written about this flat just six days before our arrival, it was no “dream” and much of the descriptive information in the blurb was inaccurate. My family of six adults stayed in this apartment. We arrived late at night to find a workman fixing the air conditioners. We were instructed to hand over the balance of our payment to him. We found that; Bedroom 1 had a queen sized bed base, encased in plastic and a double mattress on top. Bedroom 2 had a queen sized bed with a large dip in the middle The loft like area was approx four foot high, impossible for anyone to stand in and the advertised blow up mattress had been replaced by an innerspring one….wet through with wet linen. There are no live plants, no plush beds, bed linen was old and thin,the doona covers were marked and the old coverlets for the sofa bed were inappropriately too heavy. Some linens were housed on the floor of the “mezzanine” area. Bath towels, all marked, thin and tatty. We found someone’s singlet and dirty towel hanging behind the bathroom door and hairs in the bath. We had to purchase basic supplies for kitchen and bathrooms. There was an old aircon in bedroom one in pieces on the floor. There was one bathroom with shower and toilet and one toilet room that was so small as to be almost unusable, it had a tiny basin, there was no “well equipped kitchen”, not even teaspoons, no tea towels, or sink plug, the stove top was worn and dirty and although not turned on, had a very hot surface to touch, there were wet, dirty rags in a bucket under the sink, the kitchen area floor was dirty and there was a very hot pipe in the hallway without protective covering. The light in the small toilet did not work, light in bedroom one flickered, there was a hole at the base of the bath which flooded the floor. The toilet overflowed. When we tried to contact either of the two mobile numbers to ask for assistance, we found that both were unavailable, message boxes on both, full. Despite emails to management, we did not receive any acknowledgement or contact. Neither could we get a response on the office number provided.I can provide photos. No contract signed.
