Columbia Place takes ski-in / ski-out convenience to the next level. We are one of the few buildings in the Mountain Village that offer both direct ski-in / ski-out access to the Village core lifts and direct pedestrian access to the Village Core providing un-matched convenience. We are located slope-side directly adjacent to the top Chair #1 and the base of Chair #4 in the Village Core. .....and just steps from the Gondola, lift ticket office, ski school, day care, 'The Beach', retail and restaurants, equipmernt rental and everything else to make your ski vacation a hassle free experience.
You will enjoy the large, recently renovated condo with the king bedroom, queen loft, 1.5 baths and 2 private balconies over looking the ski area and new Capella ice rink. The condo functions like a 2 bedroom unit and sleeps 6 very comfortably and in relative privacy on three levels. The bedding is KING bed / QUEEN bed / QUEEN sleeper + futon: There is a new custom alder King Bed in the master bedroom (2nd level), Queen Bed in the loft (3rd level), and leather QUEEN sofa-sleeper (upgraded mattress) in the living room on the main level. There is also a FULL futon on the landing just outside the master bedroom.
The unit offers a fully equipped kitchen with new appliances, granite counters, slate floors, full size dining table for 6, high speed wireless internet, leather sofa, Thomasville bedding, Two plasma TV's (32" plasma in living area and 19" plasma in bedroom), Dolby 5.1 surround sound, DVD / CD player and large private ski locker.
The condo has two balconies. One balcony is used for grilling on the SS Weber gas grille and french doors open onto the larger balcony with views, a bench and hi-top seating (for four) allowing a unique indoor / outdoor experience on those beautiful Telluride bluebird days!

We were so delighted with this condo! The kids stayed in the loft and we stayed on the second floor. The first floor was perfect for early risers and late-night TV. The layout makes this condo feel very roomy. Everyone slept great from the first night we arrived in comfy beds. The access to lifts 1 and 4 made the trip so much easier with our children. And when we wanted to take a quick break to grab lunch or some hand warmers, it was no problem to do so. We loved having restaurants so close and we skated every night on the rink below the balcony. Wonderful location, immaculate condo. We're excited to go back!

We stayed at here during our Spring Break (March 5-15, 2011). The condo was absolutely perfect for us. Located just steps from the slope, and in the center of the mountain core, we could not have had a more perfect location. Two major lifts were just yards away, the two free gondolas, that take you to Telluride town and the Village Market were just yards away. The condo, located above a Pizza Restaurant and next to a beer garden could not have been more convenient for us. The condo itself was spacious, fully stocked with basic supplies...and with a full kitchen, we had all the amenities of home. The beds were extremely comfortable, and we had plenty of towels. We have already signed on for next year. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

The husband and I got away for some "couple time". This place was perfect!! The location was unbeatable. It was fantastic to be able to throw on the warm clothes and grab the board/skis and walk out to the lifts. So convenient and easy!! The condo itself was very cozy and tidy. It had all the amenities that we needed for a successful vacation. This was our first trip to Telluride and being so close to the gondola was wonderful. It was great not having to rent a car. Was very easy to work with the owner. We had an afternoon flight out of Telluride and he was very flexible with our checkout time since no one was coming into the condo that night. We got in an extra morning of skiing and snowboarding thanks to him. That was an unexpected treat, to say the least. It was just the two of us this time, but, we discussed that the condo would be very nice to bring the kids to.

My family of 5 was able to stay in this condo very comfortably. Location, Location, Location! It was so nice to be able to walk right out the door and be on the lift or the gondola. We had everything we needed to make this trip a great family vacation.

We stayed here for 8 nights last winter and had a fabulous time. The location is unbeatable; step directly onto the slopes from the exit of the condo. Also an easy walk to the gondola to go into the town of Telluride. Condo was remarkably spacious for a one bedroom. We have two daughters and the four of us had plenty of room. The girls loved the loft and we had plenty of privacy. Everything is well maintained and in working order. We will definitely go back.

We had the pleasure to stay in this condo for both winter skiing and spring hiking. The location is perfect and amenities outstanding. Truly a home away from home, with all you need, and lotsof little touches (fluffy robes!) that making coming "home" after a long day of activity all the more enjoyable.
