Our stay here was very relaxing. The Fish cove is out away from the crowd. It was close enough though to get to any where we wanted to go. Awesome location. Turtle beach is right beside the condo. The first floor condo is awesome and we had plenty of room. The day bed in the sunroom made the condo. The shower and bridge outside are close to the back door. We could set up our beach camp very quickly. The condo is about 100 feet walk to where you would be at the beach which was great for running back in for a snack or bathroom. I walked the beach for shells one morning and saw three dolphins and a crane walked with me for about fifteen minutes that morning. There is only one more condo and a couple of houses to the south (left from the back of the condo) and then it is you and the beach for about a mile. The only down fall was the sand here was not white, like you would expect for siesta key and it was hot. You are close to the beach and the docks are out front. You can rent kayaks and they will bring them to you there. The owner was wonderful and very friendly. The transactions to rent were super efficient. I would reccomend if you just want to relax and enjoy the ocean.

We had them everynight of our stay and one night some dolphins made it even better by swimming across as the sun melted into the gulf. The condo was the perfect place for my husband and I but would easily accomodate a few more people. In about 20 paces you were on a very uncrowded beach! There are a few restaurants close by so if you don't feel like cleaning up and going in you can call in a take out order, pick it up in about 15 minutes, and eat on the beach if you want. I loved the baked stuffed shrimp from Turtles Restaurant. The Turtles pub next door was good too. Next time I won't take so many clothes but I will take some laundry detergent since the washer/dryer is just 15 steps away. We didn't go far from the beach and when we did it was about being casual and comfortable. A day trip to the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens was lovely and then on up to St Armand Circle for lunch and shopping if you like that sort of thing. Crab 'n Fin was very good for lunch with indoor/outdoor seating. The pizza place, I think it was called City's Inc., was good and I dare anybody to eat more than one slice! It was so loaded with goodies that it took us a week to eat one pizza! Anyway, hope this helps somebody. I know I will, and already have rec'd to friends and family. P.S. I do rec'd renting an umbrella for your stay. There is a place on Midnight Pass that has them for $25 per week. 50 + sunscreen too!

Welcome potential renters. I bought this property in 2004 and renovated it in 2005. It has a new beach you can walk right onto from my door and the view is beautiful. I am sure you will be very happy with it.
