We invite you to our home away from home on Cabin Creek, Ten Mile Island Complex located in the town of Frisco, Summit County, Colorado ... minutes away from incredible summer biking, hiking, sailing on Lake Dillon and fishing on the Blue River- a perfect family vacation spot.
Winter skiing is world class. Keystone, Copper Mountain, Breckenridge, Arapahoe Basin and Loveland ski areas are a 15 to 20 minute drive. Vail and Beaver Creek are approximately 30 minutes drive. Year round FREE shuttle service to all Summit County Ski areas and towns is a few short blocks away (Vail and Beaver Creek not included).
Our ground floor, Ten Mile Creek running just feet from the patio and Mount Royal is just out the front door. A cozy real fireplace with lots of wood on the patio, a fully equipped kitchen, and wooded setting will make your stay a true escape year round. Summer hummingbirds will greet you on the back patio, and blue jays year round.
The unit sleeps 4-6. The master bedroom has a king size bed, feather duvet,tv with cable, adjacent bathroom and separate sink area. The second bedroom has a queen size bed, feather duvet, sink in the room and bath down the hall, and the sounds of Cabin Creek just outside the window. The large living room has a queen size sofa bed.
The cupboards are stocked with everything-even spices and teas. Games, puzzles, books, music CD's and videos/ DVD's are yours to use. For the kids, a complete set of classic Faerie Tale Theatre videos. We have also compiled a dining guide and detailed list of our favorite places in and around Frisco/Summit County. Wi Fi access has just been added. We also have 2 adult mountain bikes, complete with helmets/locks and European baskets available for your use. Bike trails abound in Summit County.
The charming town of Frisco is an easy walk from our place and has many restaurants, shops, coffee bars and historical attractions. Away from the crowds of the large ski towns, Frisco has a real home town feel. A great group of Colorado people are in the town to serve you. No need to hassle the parking at ski areas. The free Summit Stage offers close and free access to all Summit County ski areas. Access to bike and hiking paths are only blocks away. |
