We rented this home as a group and we enjoyed our time greatly. The location is excellent, beautiful neighbourhood, and the rooms were very comfortable. We would certainly look to renting again should we need a place to stay in Toronto. Thanks!

A wonderful place to stay in Toronto
A wonderful place to stay in Toronto
My family stayed at Heather and Martin's for a week and had a wonderful time. The neighborhood is leafy and quiet, the neighbors incredibly friendly (many with kids the age of our children), the house large and supplied with everything you could need. Conveniently the street car that takes you to downtown runs along the bottom of the road (another line is a 5 minute walk away). We existed happily there without a car. There is a supermarket less than 10 minutes walk away for stocking up, otherwise there are a variety of bakeries and restaurants within easy walking distance. There are a few local parks very close by and a couple of wonderful parks a little further afield. If you get a chance, Dufferin Grove Park has a farmer's market on Thursday afternoons with some of the best food we've eaten at farmer's markets. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

About the owner: Heather and Martin are avid travelers who work in the arts sector in Toronto. They have four wonderful children, all in their late teens and early twenties, between them.
Why the Owner Chose Toronto:
Our house is well-known as being on one of the most admired and attractive short avenues in Toronto. Its wide boulevard and yards provide a home for beautiful mature trees and home gardens. The many restaurants, art galleries, and performance venues that have opened in the area over the last decade make our neighborhood a cultural hub. As well, the nearby Trinity-Bellwoods park is one of the most people-friendly in the city, and the area continues to reflect its traditional qualities and attractions as the centre of Little Italy and Little Portugal.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Its elegance. High ceilings, traditional moldings, wood-burning fireplace, well-appointed rooms, quiet backyard.
