Reserve your week now for a family vacation, reunion, or getaway with friends including girls’ weekends or guys’ weekends! This huge 3-level house with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms (2 Full / 2 Half) has something for everyone! A fully appointed kitchen and large dining tables inside and out make mealtime a pleasure! Two decks provide plenty of space for relaxation in the sun or in the shade with views of the delightful green space behind the property and also of Mt. Elden. The outdoor gas fire-pit with built in bench seating provides a warm gathering space for chilly evenings. The Gas Furnace and Central Air Conditioning System ensure a comfortable indoor environment year round. And four bedrooms deliver a perfect night's sleep for all. The master bedroom with private bath is appointed with a sumptuous California king bed and a relaxing reading nook; a perfect place to escape with a book and a glass of wine! The three guest bedrooms are appointed with a queen size bed, two bunk beds, and a full size bed respectively. The bunk room has a fun kids’ nook with bean bag chairs and a TV with Blu-ray player and Netflix. The bunk beds sleep 4; adults or children. The guest bedroom with full size bed on the main floor includes a TV and also serves as an office. Wifi is available anywhere in the house.

For entertainment and sight-seeing, there are many options in Flagstaff and the surrounding area, most just minutes away, including Historic Downtown with an abundance of restaurants, shopping, and entertainment choices. For day trips, the Grand Canyon, Phoenix, and Sedona are an easy drive. For recreation, access to the Flagstaff Urban Trail System (FUTS) and Mt. Elden for hiking and mountain biking begins just through this home’s back gate. At the house, there is plenty to keep you busy as well; starting with the TV/entertainment area downstairs. This man cave has it all! With several streaming services including Hulu-live, you can watch your favorite shows, movies, or sports events on the 70” wall mounted LED HD-TV with surround sound. Or listen to your favorite USB or iPod device while you unwind with a few games at the pool table with surrounding bar table seating. Enjoy some beverages, conveniently made at the wet bar! Ski trip

This house was amazing for our stay with two families. Plenty of room for all, we had three adults and 4 teenagers. Kitchen was very well outfitted, we made all our meals at the house. Was great to have the garage for a vehicle too as we got lots of snow the second night we stayed. An easy 30 minute drive to Snowbowl also a plus. We enjoyed the pool table and downstairs bar area each night. Maybe the best surprise was the amazing water pressure in the showers! Often an overlooked feature but was truly a bonus for all of us after long days on the mountain. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again. Mark was great with all the communication throughout the whole process as well. Great stay!

Perfect home away from home

We loved our stay at the Elden connection, the location was perfect, the home super lovely! Kids loved sledding and hiking right from the property. A perfect 10 stay!!

We loved this place! Would absolutely stay there again. The house was so clean, very accommodating and the layout was great. It was close to downtown and we loved that it had the trail behind and room for the kids to play.

Vacation Lodge

Mark's home is truly lovely. We had a wonderful time. The home is close to the slopes, to church, and to shopping. We enjoyed watching bowl games and movies with the kiddos, and walking the trails. Nana got to stay in the bunk beds with the children. She loved it! We recommend Mark's home for families that enjoy being together. Thank you, Mark, for everything.

I reside in Phoenix and have enjoyed many weekend trips to Flagstaff over the years. I bought this home and furnished it specifically to share with you! I have had wonderful experiences myself with vacation home rentals so it was a logical and exciting next step to get my own home listed as well!

Why they chose this property

I chose Flagstaff because it is an awesome town on its own with a unique history, great restaurants and shopping, but also because its centrally located to other major attractions such as the Grand Canyon and Sedona. With such a short drive to get there from Phoenix (under 2 hours), Flagstaff offers a welcome escape from the summer heat for 'Valley' residents like me. Flagstaff has many cultural, recreational, and sight-seeing attractions of its own as well, and with 4 distinct seasons it is a desirable destination any time of year. In winter, the snow and surrounding mountains provide many opportunities for fun including downhill and cross country skiing, sledding, tubing, etc. In autumn, temperatures cool and the foliage in the surrounding forests turns colorful for unforgettable hiking and scenic touring. Spring and summer temperatures make ideal conditions for outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, and sightseeing. Not to mention strolling the delightful downtown area or sitting at a sidewalk cafe and people-watching.

What makes this property unique

My home in Flagstaff has several unique benefits over other vacation rentals. Its size, number of bathrooms, and number of private sleeping quarters makes it ideal for larger groups. In addition, the layout of the home over three stories with two separate decks in the back, a huge rec room in the basement and living room/dining room on the main floor, makes it easy for people to either gather together, or spread out into their own separate space if desired. The rec room with its 70 inch TV, surround sound system, billiard table, and convenient bathroom is a great area for socializing or relaxation. We love to cook and entertain so naturally the kitchen and wet bar are fully stocked with plenty of dishes, glasses, and quality cookware for large groups. Furnishings and décor are all brand new throughout, with a fun mix of city and country styles. The back gate allows easy access to the large green space behind the house which provides a fun area for the kids to play (while you watch them from the deck), or for you to take a stroll with your dog. The trail running through this area leads directly to the Mt. Elden trail system, providing a great opportunity for outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy some hiking or mountain biking. Treks to downtown are also easy and quick by car (just 6 minutes!) or safely by bike via the Flagstaff Urban Trail System bike paths.
