The Perfect Family Getaway!!!
The Perfect Family Getaway!!!
We just returned from a week at this wonderful cabin. Our boys staked out the loft and played lots of foozeball. The dual living rooms gave the adults some needed space. Kicked the kids out of the hot tub at 9pm. and the boat worked out great. I highly recommend Indian Creek beach with boat dock access. This is by far the best time we have had at Priest lake and we go every year. Thank YOU!!

The Cabin was very pretty, But the description you would have thought it was luxurious. When we arrived (middle of winter) there was no power and no generator (fireplace was gas run by electric so no heat). We were forced to put our food in a bear box outside and take the entire family out to dinner even though we had bought food for the week to cook. On the refrigerator was located a snarky note about how it wasn't the Hilton and that certain "city folk" would not do well there. There was even a comment stating that we shouldn't be "one of those" complainers if anything went wrong. It also went on to describe previous issues with complaining guests (not what we wanted to read, I also have a picture of this note) The cabin was not as advertised..but we adjusted and were able to have a good time. The locals were wonderful to us and made our stay so worth any issue. But There were issues.. like a very leaky roof...a large hole in the bathroom shower that opened to the outside (towels shoved in it) A very leaky toilet which we were told to wrap in the towels provided so that it wouldn't stay wet (we had to change them out several times a day). The list could go on and on. The day we checked out the owners never showed to do a walk through. When we got home we contacted them to make arrangements to get back our deposit and they did not respond. We called..no answer we had to finally file a complaint with paypal as there are time constraints for refunds this way. The day I filed the complaint the owner contacted me (surprise surprise) and were very angry, resorted to name calling and accusing us of trying stay for free. (we asked only for our deposit). We vacation often and have never had this happen, ever. I will just say its a pretty cabin but renter beware.

Owner response: Please contact me directly for the REAL story if you are concerned about this review..Over 10 years of renting and never have had a negative response from a renter. Shame on VRBO for allowing these false accusations to be posted.

This cabin was even better than we expected! It was clean/cozy and was secluded yet close to the lake. It had plenty of parking, and a great fire pit area. I would highly recommend it, we had a great time!
