  Our family had a wonderful stay at this townhouse. The pictures do not do it justice...much better than we expected. The place was so convenient to everything, beach and Baytowne- and having the bikes made it even better. The only issue we had was that the oven had not been cleaned and we were unable to use it because it set off the fire alarm! Other than that, the unit was immaculate. Thanks for a wonderful week!   I just wanted to thank you for a wonderful little vacation. We all enjoyed your villa tremendously. My 3 year old, my 9 year old and I loved bike riding with the bikes you supply. We would bike to the wharf playground in the midmorning. It was great to have one with a baby seat. We did get my husband and son to join us a few times and we biked to the wharf and the new bay adventure island for the older kids. My son, on the first night, caught a large mouth bass which was so exciting for him. Everyone loved feeding the turtles our left over bread crusts. We brought our wagon which was great so the walk to the beach was effortless. The kids loved the beach: a couple days we packed our cooler with lunch and was there for 4 to 5 hours .My son (he turned 11 while there) and my husband went to the beach in the evening times when the waves were kicking...they had a ball with the waves and each other. The pool was a great evening treat for all but especially for the 3 year old. It was a much needed break for our family. It was perfect because it had something for everyone: biking, fishing, beach, pool and the playground at the wharf. The location is ideal. My husband and I both think the beachside is better than the bayside at Sandestin. Thank you, thank you. Thank you...We hope to be back in the upcoming years.

  We just returned from a week in this villa. It was everything the description indicated and more. We have 3 little kids -- two five-year-olds and a three-year-old. This Villa is tucked into what feels like a neighborhood, but with all of the amenities that this huge resort offers. We fished in the lake every morning, rode the bikes everywhere (there was a "child" seat on one of the adult bikes, and we brought our bikes for the 5-year-olds). Everything is connected via sidewalks -- the kids could ride and ride without fearing traffic. The property is stocked with EVERYTHING including beach toys and beach chairs. Every dish or pot/pan you could need was here. We used the gas grill every night, and had relaxing dinners lake-side every night. The unit is also stocked with alot of games -- we played the "basic" ones with the kids, but plenty for teenagers/adults, too. I had a question while in the unit, and I called the owner, who promptly helped us out. Every part of the transaction was a breeze. We will definitely be returning. The pool is a short stroll away. It was recently remodeled and enlarged, as we were told by the "regulars." The only challenge is that it is either not heated, or the management chose not to heat it at this particular time of year (we got conflicting stories), and it was FREEZING cold. The kids managed around that, but they were a bit disappointed. The beach is an easy walk if you aren't carrying anything (maybe 1/2 mile?), but there is a convenient parking lot that is adjacent to the private beach entry, so we would drive to make it easy to take chairs, cooler, etc. The rental doesn't come with the "amenity" card, but the only thing that meant to us is that we couldn't get on the tram that runs around the resort until after 5 PM. That was not a problem at all, as it is easy to drive or bike anywhere you need to go on the resort. We cannot wait to return and we would excitedly pick this unit again.
