Bainbridge Island house description
Get away from it all and relax at our beach house that has been in the family for over 90 years! 100 feet of low-bank waterfront north of Suquamish near the entrance to Miller Bay.
Unbelievable views of Puget Sound from this secluded private retreat. Perfect for beach combing (up to 250 yards exposed at low tide), wildlife viewing (bald eagles and dozens of blue herons are regulars), or just relaxing in the hot tub.
With vaulted ceilings and large windows with expansive views, this cozy cabin has character at every corner and feels much bigger than it's listed square footage.
Upgrades like heated tile floors in the bathroom and a wonderful wood stove will make sure you have an amazing time even if the northwest weather doesn't cooperate.

Quick family getaway
Quick family getaway
We had such a relaxing stay. It was so nice to find somewhere that is within reach of Seattle yet far enough away that you truly feel away and are able to decompress. Also having small children in tow, it is hard to find kid friendly places to stay. Thank you for being welcoming to families!! We hope to be back soon!

Perfect Family Getaway!
Perfect Family Getaway!
The beach house was the perfect spot for our family to spend Fall Break. The four of us (including our 3 & 4 year olds) enjoyed watching the wildlife from the deck, making s'mores in the fire pit, taking out the canoe, and exploring the nearby towns. The house is in a great location and provides easy access for day trips to Seattle, Poulsbo, Bainbridge, Bremerton, Kingston and Port Townsend. We enjoyed exploring all of these places. The farmers market in downtown Poulsbo was one of the highlights. The house itself is fully stocked with everything you need to feel right at home. The toys for the kids were such a nice touch and kept our kids busy for hours. We were grateful to have the telescope and binoculars that were provided. There were many occasions we ran to them to get a closer look at the barges crossing the sound or the wildlife outside. The kids enjoyed seeing the bald eagles that nest in a tree right nearby the property, the harbor porpoises, sea lions, and many birds. The ferry ride out to the beach house is a wonderful part of the experience. Our family would definitely love to return!

This was much better than staying at a Hotel in the city. We could spend time together, grill steaks and relax on the deck. Enjoyed the sunrise with a cup of coffee and the sounds of "water wildlife". Good location from the ferry and other quaint towns.

Great Beach House
Great Beach House
To say that the four of us had a good time at this beach house would be an understatement. We had a GREAT time. Off the beaten path but close to the tourist areas if that is what you so choose. We checked out Poulsbo a few times and hit up Central Market (a real treat) and then mainly stayed at the house. This house offers plenty to do with the hot tub, canoes and kayaks. The fire pit down by the water was a real plus for nighttime fun. The picture windows offer a great view across the sound towards Ballard. Plenty of activity within 5-15 min drive depending what you are looking for. Will definitely visit here again. Thanks

Beach house relaxation
Beach house relaxation
Come away to the beach house and relax! Your hosts have thought of every detail and comfort of home - from cozy bed linens and towels, plenty to read or share their kayaks. The ever changing view of the sound from the big family room windows or deck mesmerize you. A full stocked kitchen with every- thing you could possibly need. My family of four had a wonderful time beach combing and enjoying their huge jacuzzi at night under the stars. If we are ever back in WA we definitely will come back to this fabulous beach house! We made great family memories here!

We had a great time at your beach house. It was the most relaxing couple of days I have had in a long time. We felt very welcome and comfortable. Everything was clean and looked just like the photos. We had a wonderful breakfast in Kingston at the Oak Table Cafe. We look forward to a repeat visit next year. Thank you!

About the owner: We are a newly married couple who are both born and raised in the Seattle area. We continue to call the Northwest home and love all it has to offer. We enjoy very active lifestyles and can regularly be found cycling, running, hiking, or snowshoeing just to name a few.
Why the Owner Chose Bainbridge Island:
This property just north of Suquamish has been in the family since the early 1920's. The current cabin was built in 1962, and we've been steadily making improvements while maintaining its original character and charm. Our family has generations of memories here and we love being able to share this special place with family and friends.
