About the owner: I have been in the education profession for 28 years. I love the outdoors and nature in general, birdwatching, sports such as skiing ( water, downhill, crosscountry),hiking, camping, scuba diving, sailing. My husband and I ran an art gallery for 20 years and I love art in many forms. I keep my property as close to a nature santuary as I possibly can so I can have a serene enviroment to unwind from the busy work life in Reno.
Why the Owner Chose Kings Beach: I grew up in Reno,NV and spent many wonderful winters and summers at Tahoe. I wanted to retire to Tahoe to be closer to the nature and outdoor activities I love. When I saw this location I knew it was for me. It is a classic Tahoe cabin located in a serene setting next to the forest. It helps me regenerate after a busy work week and I hope it will help you unwind too.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin: I love the natural setting and spend a lot of time gardening. I do a daily hike in the forest both summer and winter --- plus of course skiing in the winter and swimming in the summer. Afternoons in the summer I love sitting on the deck with a book watching the wildlife in the forest. In the winter I love watching the snow fall with a roaring fire keeping things cozy.
