Our Lewes Beach House is a beautiful getaway in the first town of the first state, Lewes, Delaware. Voted "Best Places to Vacation" in CnnMoney Magazine, Lewes, located on the Delaware Bay offers quiet beaches, beautiful water views and a wealth of day trips.
Our luxury home, built in 2003, sits on the Lewes Public Beach and offers incredible views of the Delaware Bay. Watch the Lewes Ferry pass in the distance as you enjoy the both the sunsets and the sunrises from the front deck.
Our three story home is 3200 square feet and and will accommodate multi-families with two large master suites with bay views, three additional bedrooms - all with access to an outside deck, a modern kitchen with brazilian blue granite countertops, four full and two half baths and a large great room. Visitors find the great room to be most impressive with comfortable seating on plush sofas, dazzling mahogany hardwood floors, a vaulted ceiling, gas fireplace, large screen TV/DVD/VCR, and, of course, the spectacular water view.
Amenities... There are many! Two master bedrooms attached to water view decks. Three bedrooms with two twin beds each. One full-size futon. Six bathrooms (four full and two half). An elevator. This house is fantastic. We come with 6-10 people and there is plenty extra room. This house is huge and very clean and the owners are a pleasure to deal wth. We have been coming for 4 or 5 consecutive years and its always great.
Recommended for:Families with young children, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Our stay at this beach house was absolutely perfect! The house is gorgeous, big enough that our extended family staying there didn't feel claustrophobic. Kitchen was stocked with all we expected and more. The beach is literally at your doorstep, and the chairs, umbrellas and inflatable toys were all perfect for use on the beach and in the calm bay waters. And since Dairy Queen was right around the corner, it was a cinch to stroll over. The 2nd floor front porch was a perfect place to read while out of the sun, with the sounds of the beach close by. While we tended to be home-bodies, (and took advantage of the big stash of board games, as well as a Wii) there was plenty to do in Lewes, Rehoboth and other towns around. The owners provided us with a really helpful list of great family activities that guided quite a bit of our itinerary. They were also very helpful in answering questions we had leading up to our vacation. It was quite a distance for us since we were meeting up with family, but if we were doing that again, I would absolutely want to stay here!
