Hello Folks,

Welcome to our family's mountain home, located just a few minutes off the Blue Ridge Parkway in the gated community of Yonahlossee Racquet Club and Resort.

When you enter our home you find a spacious great room with a 24 foot cathedral ceiling, open to the living, dining, and kitchen areas. Locust hardwood floors cover the living room and marble floors are in the kitchen, dining nook, and on the counter tops. The dining or breakfast nook sits off to the side of the kitchen where you can enjoy coffee or dining as you look out onto the deck.

Located on the first floor are two guests bedrooms with a shared bath and two twin beds in each. On the opposite end of the house sits the master bedroom with an 18 foot cathedral ceiling, a master bath, and a queen-size cherry bedroom suit. Another large bedroom is located upstairs, with a bath and queen-size cherry bedroom suit also. On the opposite side of this upstairs bedroom is a loft where children can play board games, cards, etc.

Guests can take advantage of the secluded mountain location from the back deck which runs the entire length of the house and is accessible from both the kitchen and the master bedroom. One end of the deck has a covered porch so that you can enjoy the outdoors even on a rainy day. From the deck, visitors will enjoy the view of a small private pond.

Inside this gated community, guests can take advantage of both outdoor or indoor tennis courts, an indoor swimming pool, and a secluded picnic area with a small pond with a canoe for those who like adventure.

Location, location, location! Yonahlossee is located just minutes from the quaint shops in downtown Blowing Rock and Shoppes on the Parkway. In the winter, guests can venture out to various ski slopes which are only 20-30 minutes from the front porch.
