  Die Wohnung in dem Palazzo ist wunderschön! Die Räume sind sehr großzügig- besonders der Wohnraum ist riesig- mit wunderbarem Blick auf Kirche und Lagune. Die Terrassen konnten wir leider wetterbedingt nicht nutzen, bieten aber noch bessere Blicke. Die Besitzerin der Wohnung hat einen exquisiten Geschmack mit dem sie die Wohnung eingerichtet hat- so fehlt es an nichts, und man kann auch bei schlechtem Wetter (das wir ja leider hatten) sich dann immer wieder auf die Wohnung freuen. Die Küche ist etwas niedrig, aber es macht Spaß darin zu kochen, da sogar ein Geschirrspüler da war. Die Betten waren sehr bequem, die Bäder luxuriös, und die CD-Anlage hat einen fantastischen Klang, so dass es sich lohnt, seine Lieblings-CDs mitzubringen. Wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen- Vielen Dank!

  Appartement magnifique, facilement accessible à pied ou en vaporetto. Une vue exceptionnelle sur Madonna dell'orto et sur la lagune. Quartier agréable avec commerces et restaurants à proximité. On peut rejoindre Murano en 10 minutes et l'aéroport en 30 minutes. Les trois terrasses sont agréables même en hiver. Nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir à séjourner chez la très sympathique Alexandra qui a tout fait pour nous permettre de profiter au maximum de notre séjour de 10 jours. L'appartement est très spacieux ce qui nous a permis de cohabiter à 7 personnes sans nous gêner. Dans les environs il est possible de visiter au moins 5 belles églises avec des toiles de maîtres. Certaines de ces églises font partie du circuit chorus. Nous recommandons ce bel endroit situé dans un palais historique au cœur d'une des promenades proposées dans le guide des balades de Corto Maltese.

• Superb Venetian palazzo

  This is truly the most beautiful apartment we have had the pleasure of living in. We were there for five weeks or so thorugh early winter and late autumn. The living spaces are huge, warm and comfortable with stupendous views across the laguna to the alps, across the city rooftops and across the cupola of Madonna del Orto with its Tintoretto frescoes reaching to the ceilings and available for daily contemplation of life's mysteries. The main bathroom is luxurious and one feels like pampered royalty in the apartment's well proportioned and terrace equipped bedrooms. The kitchen and laundry spaces are a small attic like spaces as this 1000 year old apartment with original roof timbers was designed for servants rather than tallish 20th C Aussie families but we still managed to cook some excellent meals from the superb local produce without bumping our heads on the door frame too often! The local neighbourhood of Campo dei Mori is thankfully light on tourists but thick with local artisans and an excellent produce market is just minutes away.I also had many wonderful evenings at Il Paradiso Perduto, an iconic bar/trattoria run by Signor Maurizio since the early 1970s and which throbs with local music of a gypsy/jazz variety and is buzzing with svelte young intellectuals from 10.30pm, an unusually bright music spot in this otherwise quiet and refined neighbourhood. All in all, a heavenly space from which to enjoy one of the great cities of the Old World.

  My family and I enjoyed out stay, in Venice, hugely because of this beautiful flat. It is spacious and clean. The location was excellent to let us see all the sights we had on our list, plus more. Alexandra and her team were always available, helpful and wonderful to deal with. We have already recommended this apartment to a friend traveling to Venice in the fall. We, as well, hope to return to this flat, one day.

  Palazzo Mastelli (de Cammello) is a wonderful historic building and the apartment is the perfect Penthouse home. Its 3 terraces and huge living room window give marvellous views of Venice rooftops, the lagoon and the nearby Madonna Del Orto Church, and capture the sun throughout the day. The antique furniture, ‘Eastern’ decorations including 29 stunning Buddhas and huge amount of space coupled with modern stylish bathrooms and other furniture make this apartment an absolute gem. Located minutes from the 'Orto' waterbus stop and from a host of fantastic restaurants (dei Mori, Dei Rioba, La Vedova, Al Timon, Paradiso Perduto and a host of others), the area is quiet but only 10-15 minutes’ walk from the Rialto Bridge. The modern lift makes it the ideal holiday home in Venice for both the young and the young at heart. The kitchen is small but sufficient for light meals for all the family and we used it and the large dining table everyday for our 16 day stay. For those wishing a romantic holiday in Venice, just off the tourist trail in Cannergio, this holiday apartment will be your ‘home from home’ and one that you will thoroughly enjoy and ‘rave’ about to your friends and family when you get home.

  On our fist visit to venice, my daughters and I could not have had a better experience with our accommodation. This is a truly special apartment; quiet and relaxing with plenty of space. We almost struggled to leave the apartment as it felt so comfortable and there is a sense that Venice lives inside the building. The decor and artwork reflect the Venitian identity of East meets West in its cultural and trading heritage. The terraces provided an opportunity to enjoy the sun while admiring wonderful panoramic views across terracotta rooftops toward St Marco and other landmarks. We found that the air-conditioning was essential during the hot August weather. The two bathrooms with shower and jacuzzi bath were an added bonus, especially given competing demands of teenage daughters! The kitchen had steep roof a which may make it difficult for long periods of cooking at the stove ( especially for those taller people ) but contained all required for lighter meals. The apartment is easy to access from the Vaporetta ( arriving by water from Marco Polo airport being an simple and memorable start to the holiday) and is also in easy walking distance from the tourist areas. The surrounding area is quiet and varied with good access to local restaurants, bakery and small supermarket. We could not ask for a better host than Alexandra; Although she was not in Venice at the time we were able to remain in contact by e-mail and phone. Alexandra provided lots of good advice and reassuring support making the trip stress free. I would love to visit again and would recommend this apartment.

  Dieses Appartement ist einfach faszinierend.... mit Ausblicken in Richtung San Marco und zur nahegelegenen Sta.Maria del Orto, dann weiter über die Lagune....so läßt sich ein Abend in Venedig stimmungsvoll auf den kleinen Terrassen ausklingen. Die Einrichtung der Wohnung mit asiatischen Antiquitäten ist außergewöhnlich und faszinierend - in den Bädern gibt es zauberhafte Venezianische Mosaiken - kurz, ein Ort, um in herrlicher Ruhe und viel Raum einen Besichtigungstag ausklingen zu lassen. Wir haben uns sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt - nicht zuletzt, weil dieser hübsche Palazzo fußläufig nahe an allen Einkaufs- und Eßlokalen des Viertels liegt. Mit unserer Vermieterin hatten wir einen sehr herzlichen Briefkontakt. So können wir diese gepflegte Wohnung nur empfehlen- vor allem für Menschen, die das Besondere suchen.   We stayed in this lovely Venetian apartment for nine days with our two children, ages 13 and 16. It is in a spectacular neighbourhood of significant architecture, gracious restaurants, and thankfully a bit away from the crowds of tourists. The unit is beautifully furnished and equipped, and even air conditioned which was very nice in July. My husband was particularly amazed to be reading a mystery novel that mentioned the building! The owner was extremely attentive to detail and the apartment is very clean. Overall it is excellent value.

  Die komfortable Wohnung ist mit seinen 180 qm2 wirklich sehr gross und luftig. Dazu noch die wunderschönen Kunstgegenstände, die der Wohnung ein einmaliges Ambiente verleihen. Durch das grosse Panoramafenster im Wohnzimmer hat man einen wunderschönen Ausblick aufs Meer, die naheliegenden Inseln und auf die Kirche "Madonna dell'Orto". Unsere Kinder fanden das Jacuzzi Bad toll. So hatten sie doch noch ein bisschen Badeferien. Die Küche ist etwas klein geraten, hat aber alles was es braucht. Für uns war das auch nicht weiter schlimm, da es am Campo dei Mori und in nächster Umgebung wirklich wunderschöne kleine Restaurants gibt, die im Sommer so schön romantisch Tischchen an den Kanälen aufgestellt haben. Wir könnten so noch endlos weiter schwärmen, würden aber den Rahmen des möglichen hier sprengen. Deshalb noch kurz und zusammengefasst gesagt: Wir können die schöne Wohnung einfach nur weiterempfehlen!.
