Our entire family stayed in this great beach house while attending a son's graduation from flight school. It accommodated everyone, had everything you needed, comfortable beds and great fun with it's own pool and right on the waterway for fishing. You can even rent the boat. Wonderful place and would be more than happy to rent it again in the future.

Unfortunately, the four of us were visiting Corpus Christi on business. However, we felt at home thanks to this home away from home. The house and neighborhood was very nice. We REALLY enjoyed sitting out back relaxing and watching the fish. No expense was spared furnishing the home. The sheets, towels, etc. were top notch. Laurel was also an awesome host. Thank you Laurel!

We just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay at your home this past week! We were looking for a place to stay without a "condo" or "motel" feel where we could enjoy our family and friends. It was the perfect getaway without having to leave town. Ruben was able to close out some real estate deals and our daughter Whitney was able to go to work and still come back and enjoy a dip in the pool or fishing at night. Your home is tastefully decorated and the attention to all the small details (from shampoo and conditioner to hand lotion to the fully stocked kitchen) made such a huge difference. It is comfortable and we felt at home. Your mom is also a joy. We enjoyed meeting her and talking with her. She was a big help and let it be known she was only a phone call away if we needed anything. We felt we were well provided for and didn't want for a thing. Thanks again Laurel and we hope to enjoy another stay at your beautiful home!

This house was a highlight of our recent family vacation. Four generations were able to enjoy our days at the beach, in the pool, on the boat and then relax at night on the huge couch in front of the big screen. The house was beautifully furnished and well equipped. The family sized table allowed all 10 of us to enjoy our meal time together.

Had a fantastic hoilday. Loved the house and loved Texas. Unfortunately some damage occurred to the house during our visit. Laurel was at all times helpful and considerate. We are hoping to return to Texas as soon as possible and are saving our pennies.

Our family of six + one additional guest stayed in Laurel & David's house from June 24th - July 1st. It was our second rental of this beautiful home. We also rented it for a week last summer. We just can't get enough of it!! We love everything from the great fishing to the beaches and the sightseeing excursions. When we go home, we miss the pool, the big cable TV and the stained glass windows (among many things). We start missing it from the moment we have to start packing to go home! Our vacations go by wayyyyy too quickly. Thanks Laurel for making such a wonderful stay possible. We love you guys!!!!

10/08/05 WOW! What a house. We rented the house for a week from 9/25/05 thou 10/02/05. Laurel was not quite truthful with us about her place. We were not expecting rental property too be so luxurious. Pictures on the Webb site does not do it justice. This is the perfect place for a family. We had our two grandchildren; two daughter and son-in-laws and everyone had there owned bedroom. The pool was a plus and I cannot express how many times the water felt so good and a great place too cool off. We even had a place to dock our fishing boat. There was water and electricity available for our boat. We are already planning our next trip with the kids and hope Laurel has the house available for us. Susie & Leslie Lund Duncanville, Texas

We really enjoyed our stay on Hawksnest Bay. The house is very well equipped for all your vacation needs. The boat was a special addition and well worth the dollar. Hope to return some time soon.

If you want to stay in a house that has the WOW factor but is also has a great family feel to it then this is definately the house for you. We came all the way from England for our first family holiday in Texas and I can honestly say that it was one of the best holidays ever and the house played a massive part in that. The house is more than fully equiped everything you need and more. The entertainment system will keep you occupied and the swimming pool is the icing on the cake. The location is fantastic, beaches very close by and lots of nice places to eat that are child friendly. My children are 5, 11 and 13 and they were never bored. Laurel and David are very kind and will go out of thieir way to assist with information and advice on activities to do and whats on in the area. I cannot recommend this house enough so if you are looking for a touch of luxury with a family vibe this house is for you.

I stayed here for a week and wished I had more time. It was a great trip and the house is perfect. The kids loved the pool, the beach is real close and there are plenty of restaurants to try within a few minutes. I hope to go back, this is an excellent rental in a great vacation spot.
