About the owner: We live in Atlanta, GA about 2.5 hours from Highlands.
Why the Owner Chose Highlands: My grandparents built a vacation home in Highlands in 1935. I visited during the summer while growing up and the area still feels like 'home'. The sound of the creek is what drew us to this current property.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage: The weather is delightful all summer and not severe very often during the winter. Gardening is easily successful because of the weather.
