Please see "Our Story" on the website! We are very happy to have purchased the Mansion in early 2006. We built the Chapel ourselves, and it is so pretty. Ellery actually built the Chapel, with the help of a few faithful friends, and Beverly designed the Chapel. It was a labor of love, and we think you will love it, too!
Renee Carpenter works with us at the Mansion, and does a wonderful job of making sure guests have what they need during their stay. As a Robbinsville native, Renee knows a lot about the area, and will be sure to give you great information.
Why the Owner Chose Robbinsville
The area is beautiful! And the Mansion is absolutely a sight to behold. Our friends and family tell us that pictures do not do justice to the property, and it is true. The area, with its natural beauty and "away from it all" feeling, is just an hour or so away from metropolitan areas. The small town atmosphere, where everyone knows each other, really appealed to us. The absolute beauty of this area of western North Carolina reminds us both of Vermont, where Ellery is from - just not as cold!

Tranquility, rest, and the lovely garden are all things we look forward to when we visit the Mansion. We also enjoy catching up with friends we have made in the area. But mostly?
