The upper level with vaulted ceilings has a newly furnished living room with a comfortable queen sleeper sofa, Sony flatscreen tv and dvd player, and the master bedroom (queen) that overlooks the deck and lake. Ceiling fans in both rooms.

My family ad I have stayed at this cottage for 3 years. It is very clean, very comfortable, in a wonderful, family-friendly part of the Lake, and it's surrounded by great neighbors. We love the big deck and the beautiful trees. The deck is shaded throughout the day. The swimming right off the dock is calm and wonderful. I would highly recommend this as a vacation rental. I love it because there are no negative surprises.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

We stayed at the cottage last week and really enjoyed it. The renters were very helpful, giving us lots of upfront information about the cottage, detailed instructions for driving to the cottage and close places we would need to go to, and helpful hints about all the fun places we should be sure to visit. The cottage was adorable. We have a family of 5 and it was the perfect size for us. The view of the lake was beautiful, especially in the morning! The kids loved having our own private dock. Our boat was always close, and the kids could swim and fish whenever they wanted. The neighbors were all very friendly as well, teaching our kids how to fish and other wonderful things! We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and the home we stayed in.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

We have a guest sign-in/comment book in the home that's full of all the great things our guests have said about their vacations here. I guess it's more convenient than leaving comments on the computer site. Guest references are also available; please contact us for names/numbers. Almost 100% of our renters have come back again! About the owner: We have been exploring/vacationing at Lake of The Ozarks since the mid 90's and have never had as much fun boating anywhere else! The water is SO warm and clean! We are from the Chicago area so this is a major issue for us :) and there is so much to see and do, right from the water. We find it very relaxing and it seems to rejuvinate us to just be near the water. We've rented condos before, but there truly is nothing like having your own space and privacy. Our neighbors are the most sincere, helpful, kind, friendly, and fun people you'll ever want to meet. We couldn't ask for more in a vacation home. We are glad to be able to share it!
Why the Owner Chose Rocky Mount:
We were looking for a lake home on every vacation we took. Not sure what we'd do if we ever came across a place we really liked, one time we did - we've never been the same since. We have never worked so hard, for so many hours, and then had to drive 7 hours to get back home and go back to our regular jobs as we have since we bought this home. It certainly didn't look like it does now, and we probably spent a small fortune fixing it up like we wanted it, but the location has made it all worth while. The lake has become a lot more popular since we first started coming down, yet in this cove there aren't the huge weekend waves you get near the main channel. We love it and feel very fortunate to be where we are.

Also, we have this home set up for vacationing that we would enjoy, which means we tried to think of everything you might need, and more. It's all there. We also have friends nearby who can come to the property to help with anything you might need - a big bonus!
