Quiet Creekside Condo Backing to Stream, 1 Block Off Main St.
- Minimum stay:3-4 nights
- Internet:Yes
- Pets allowed:No
- Wheel chair accessible:No
Nestled among the pine trees next to the creek, it is hard to believe this quiet condo is just one block away from the restaurants, shopping, and nightlife of Frisco! 'Brook Forest' is an appropriate name for the four-plex that stands beneath the pine trees and, with no other unit above or below you, your privacy and rest is assured!
This immaculate condo features two bedrooms, two full baths, and a hide-a-bed so six people may sleep comfortably. There is an additional cot in the closet for kids. The condo has been remodeled with new windows, flooring, paint and furniture. Overlooking the wooded creek is the solarium furnished as a dining room, quiet room area. The creek, which babbles in the summertime, will be covered by a blanket of fresh powder in the winter only adding to the ambience. The southern exposure brings in the warmth of the sun even on those colder winter days! Be sure to enjoy the balcony/deck accessed from either the solarium or master bedroom and which is equipped with stereo speakers for your favorite CD sounds!
A stone fireplace dominates the great room and a wood fire in the evening creates an inviting atmosphere. There is always plenty of wood in the garage too! Vaulted ceilings, skylights, and plenty of windows bring the outdoors inside while the hot water baseboard heating and fireplace keep you warm and comfortable. An open kitchen/great room floor plan provides for easy cooking and entertaining! The well equipped kitchen with granite counters and stainless appliances includes blender, mixer, baking pans, and plenty of wine glasses! The breakfast bar is often a conversation area as well.
The Master bedroom sports a queen-size bed and private bath with large shower and the second bedroom has a queen-size bed. Both bedrooms are tastefully decorated with an outdoor theme!
The advantages of being within walking distance of Frisco's main street include the great bus service to all four of our ski resorts - Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper Mountainand Arapahoe Basin! It is truly a skier's dream destination!
Treat yourself to a winter wonderland vacation or an activity filled summer get-away! The mountain air and beautiful scenery are here to enjoy year round!

We stayed at this condo for 2 weeks while skiing in the area. The location is ideal a short walk to downtown Frisco that has several great restaurants. The condo was in excellent condition with updated appliances and laundry facility in the condo. The close proximity to several ski areas was great, Vail is only about 25 minutes by car and you can take the bus to other ski areas in the area. It was a pleasure communicating with LuAnn while trying to make final arrangements. We would stay here again and recommend it.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

This is a wonderful place with all of the comforts of home!! We ski Copper Mountain and Keystone so Frisco is the perfect choice for getting to both! The condo is within walking distance of town, but in a very quiet secluded spot that backs up to a stream. The owner could not have been any nicer or easier to work with! We would highly recommend this place and plan to come back!!Owner response: Thanks for the great review Jane! We are always anxious to improve and consider our guests comfort our top priority! Frisco is definitely the place to be to be able to enjoy the skiing and biking in several closeby areas! Warmest Regards, LuAnn

This was a very nice condo for our week in Colorado. The area is quiet and the sound of the stream was soothing and relaxing- very nice as it lulled us to sleep each night. The location is excellent - within walking distance to town, the myriad of excellent restaurants and to several hiking trails at the end of town as well as off of the bike trail. The entire condo is well appointed with attractive furniture, bedding and wall photos and decorations. Everything was in complete working order. The kitchen was well supplied with everything needed for meal preparation. In addition there was a sizable selection of food items for use if one chose to do so. The bed ( we only used the master bedroom) was very comfortable, and the bathroom comes well equipped with newer towels, sufficiently supplied with toilet paper, hand soap, bar soap, hairdryer, and shampoo. We enjoyed use of the balcony overlooking the creek, as well as the comfortable furniture in both the living room area and the sun room. This condo is bright and sunny - a great home away from home! The listing photos offer accurate appearance of the condo and amenities but the condo is much nicer than what the photos can show. The property is well maintained and of average cleanliness. We would definitely recommend this property to others and would, ourselves, enjoy another stay in this property when visiting Colorado again in the near future!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We have been coming out to the Breckenridge, Dillion and Frisco area and spending our vacations in condos for over 25 years and this place was the absolute best place that we have stayed! As great as the photos are, they do not do it justice. The owners are very friendly and helpful. So many times when you stay in a rental, you always think that the nice stuff is locked away. Not here. The furniture, the appliances, everything is first rate! Having a washer and dryer was also a plus. You're made to feel welcome and made to feel that this is your home for your stay. We had grandkids with us and they absolutely loved being near a running stream and a really nice city park. As far as the adults were concerned, the condo sits in a nice, quiet, relaxing neighborhood but it's within walking distance to great shops and restaurants. If I could give it more than five stars I would!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.

Stayed at the condo with a friend for a week's skiing at Copper Mountain. Even for just the two of us, it worked out no more expensive than the cheapest hotel and we had more space, comfort and a full kitchen. On arrival, the first thing that struck us was that the condo seems bigger than in the photos. The beds are big and comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped (with dishwasher) and everything is spotless and in impeccable condition. Although we stopped on the way to buy some supplies for our trip, we found things like coffee and cereal were already there and the owners had said we were welcome to help ourselves. There's a fireplace and a flat-screen TV to relax in front of as well as a fast wireless internet connection to keep in touch with those back home (and make them jealous!). The washer and dryer were useful too. The location is superb. Far enough from the centre of Frisco to be quiet (although Frisco doesn't look as though it ever gets too noisy!) but close enough to walk back after a few drinks. For skiing, Copper Mountain is only 10-15 minutes drive away and Breckenridge isn't much further. There are several other ski resorts close by too. Frisco is a pretty little town but Breckenridge is a bit more lively after dark. We sampled restaurants in both! Communication from the owners was excellent - both before, after and even during the trip when we had trouble working out how to get into the garage. Although there were only two of us staying, the condo would easily accomodate two couples with plenty of space to move around. It's on the second floor with the garage underneath so you get a good view from the balcony. A bit of a thaw during our stay started to reveal the creek flowing through the wooded back garden. We had an excellent trip and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the condo. Just don't book it in February as I suspect I'll be making some repeat trips and I want it then!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: We appreciate the wonderful reviews we have received both on line and in our guest book. We know how important it is to have a bright, clean and comfortable place to stay after a day of skiing! Our goal is to make this condo the only one you will want to have on your return trips!

We just got back from a week long trip to Frisco, CO. The weather and scenery could not have been nicer...It's a far cry from the 100+ temps in Texas. My wife and I got engaged five years ago along Ten Mile Creek and returned this time with family and friends. The first thing my parents said when they walked into the condo was, "This is defintely a place we have to come back to." I couldn't agree more. To be able to sleep with the master bedroom door open and hear the babbling brook outside adds a whole new dimension. The condo itself was very private, which helps with those of us attempting to get away from it all. All in all, it was a great vacation. Thanks for allowing us to use your condo.
