GRANDMA'S CABIN is your Yellowstone Vacation Cabin Rental. Located in Island Park, Idaho just 30 miles to Yellowstone National Park and West Yellowstone, Montana. Situated approximately four blocks off the highway where it is private and quiet with a large yard. Bordering the Targhee National Forest and pasture land with Blue Creek running through, it often attracts wildlife such as deer, moose, fox,and many kinds of birds. Only 45 minutes from Yellowstone National Park and about one and half hours to Grand Teton National Park.
Grandma's Cabin has three separate bedrooms. The first bedroom with a king-size bed is on ground floor. The second bedroom on the second floor has two queen beds and the third bedroom one-queen bed and one twin bed. All bedrooms have dressers, nightstands with lamps and alarm clocks. A full bath with tub/shower combination is located on the ground floor. There is an additional half bath on the second floor. All your bed and bath linens are provided as well as extra pillows and blankets.
Grandma’s kitchen is equipped with all the cooking utensils and service for 12. It has a range, refrigerator, microwave, gas barbecue grill, telephone, dishwasher, as well as washer and dryer. All the kitchen and laundry supplies are provided. Just perfect for your Thanksgiving Dinner. Grandma’s living room has a sectional sofa with a queen sleeper, two chairs, end tables, satellite TV, and other furniture. There is also a gas fireplace to keep you warm.
Grandma’s Cabin is open year round and is conveniently located in Island Park Idaho near Yellowstone National Park and West Yellowstone, Montana for all the area activities, 45 minutes from the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park, one and a half hours to Grand Teton National Park, and 20 minutes from Harriman State Park. There are many lakes, rivers, and streams in the area for great trout fishing, fly-fishing near by including world famous Henry’s Fork of the Snake River and the Madison River. Many hiking trails available are in Targhee National Forest and in Yellowstone as well as horseback riding in Harriman State Park, wildlife viewing for elk, moose, deer, fox, swans, and much more.
Our beautiful winter wonderland brings over 500 miles of groomed snowmobile trails for with more than twice that area in deep powder areas to visit. Mount Jefferson is often called the "Top of the World." Visit Yellowstone National Park by snowmobile or snow coach. Cross-country ski trails and snowshoeing are also available on the National Forest, Harriman State Park, and the famous cross Country Ski Rendezvous Trail System in West Yellowstone Montana where the Olympic skiers train just 45 minutes away.
