Property description

Located 1 mile west of the Village of East Aurora on Quaker road (Rte. 20A.) The one story first floor apartment includes 850 sq. ft. of period sensitive renovations.

The unit includes a large covered front porch and back deck with gas and charcoal grills. The home which was originally built around 1865 sits on 6 1/3 acres of now dormant farmland. The property includes nature trails leading to a wildlife preserve and a creekside campfire pit.

The unit is furnished with a new kitchen, featuring granite countertops, a double oven and new wooden cabinets. A barn wood table and breakfast bar were built from site salvaged barn wood are featured in the kitchen. The spacious living room includes a flat screen TV with cable and a new couch.
High speed Wireless internet is access is provided at no additional charge.

About the owner: I'm an architect with a passion for renovating older homes,when I saw this one I could not resist its unique qualities along with the spectacular site. We named it ArcoSanti~Springs which means the blending of architecture and the environment.

Why the Owner Chose East Aurora:
The spectacular creek frontage , and old farm road that leads to the creek was our initial attraction. We originally thought we would sell the house, but soon fell in love with that as well. We are enjoying the continuing process of restoration and renovation of the historic farmhouse house and out buildings.We would soon like to see agriculture re established on the two acres of now dormant farm land. And the old training stable put to a worthy adaptable re-use.

The Unique Benefits at this Farmhouse:
'It's not often that you can sit at a barn wood table and look out at the barn where the wood came from.' When you first arrive on site you will feel as though you have stepped back into a simpler time. The renovated farmhouse is simple and stout. The front porch and back deck are both easily accessed, just two or three steps up from the drive and sidewalk. The interior is bright and airy with tall ceilings and an abundance of windows. The Greek revival trim and faux fireplace detail certainly add a unique historic touch. Some original fixtures and finishes have been maintained or replicated in order to blend the new amenities with the original features of the home & property.
