Why the Owner Chose South Zone
My late husband and I landed in Puerto Vallarta in 1980 for a one week vacation, fell in love with Mismaloya Beach and Lomas de Mismaloya, the views of Los Arcos and bought our lot and started building our dream retirement home. finished in 1981 our two bedroom abode hosted family events Holidays anniversaries and weddings. I continued buying properties and rebuilt the villa in 2002 transforming Casa Valerie into the 6 bedroom estate it is today. It still is our beloved "family home" In 1980 when we bought the lot I was pregnant with Sterling, my oldest son. April 4 (in 3 days 2009) Sterling will be married here with all his closest friends family and guests.
Being a widow and raising my two sons we have been blessed with having the wonderful experience of living in Puerto Vallarta with my children where they bloomed with the bi cultural experience, learning Spanish and thriving in the rich Mexican culture. My boys come down several times a year with friends to enjoy the climate, the food, and the wonderful friends we have made here throughout the years. They love to bring new friends to join them and show them the "interior" the pulse of Puerto Vallarta that only one that has lived here can really know profoundly.

There is nothing comparable to the views of Casa Valerie from the pool area. It is a delight to sit by the pool sipping a margairta and sharing your wonderful home with wedding guests. The views that each bedroom affords ensures that my friends and family feel together but enjoy their own space for quiet times. Meeting in the evening for a cocktail served on the terrace watching the magnificent sunsets are something to behold.
