WE ARE 150 yards from 2 heated pools and the beach beyond!!!
Inside hardwood floors, Berber carpets, designer furnishings, granite counters and stainless appliances, and privacy deck are discerning elements that add maturity to this welcoming floorplan.

Excellent restaurants nearby are Bud and Ally's, The Red Bar, and more. Sandwiched between Grayton Beach and Deer Lake State Parks, Summer's Edge at Seagrove is the quaintest and prettiest area in all of Florida with dunescapes and emerald colored crystal-clear seas. It is modern luxury living in an old-time, low-rise, Florida-friendly, family environment. One week at Brown Eyed Girl will have you returning annually!

Thank You Josh for "the deal of the century". We have stayed at numerous properties within the Summers Edge Community and this home combined with your excellent rates made this one of our favorite vacations YET! If you are reading this review in hopes of more details about the home maybe I can help. Brown Eyed Girl was EXACTLY as described on this listing. The pics posted here do not do this house justice. The house comfortably accommodated our family (6 adults and 3 children). The main living area is very open. While us ladies prepared meals in the kitchen we could easily have conversations, and enjoy the same tv shows with the others in the living area. The Kitchen was well equipped, we never wished for anything that this house did not provide. The dining table was somewhat small but there was an open bar that seated the others. As you walk in the house Living room is on your right, the kitchen to your left. There is a 1/2 bath located just off of the kitchen. On the back side of the house you have one room on the left with full size bed and twin size bed. A split Jack -N- Jill Full bath connects to the second bedroom (Queen Bed). There is no access to this bathroom from living area. The stairwell separates the two bedrooms leading to the Master bedroom (2nd floor). The master bedroom is somewhat on the small side, the the master bath room is spacious and economical. Nothing fancy. The Hardwood floors are beautiful. The furniture is comfy and accommodating. Two of the kids age (12) slept on the sofa sleeper with no problem. We all felt right at home within our first nights stay. The parking is tight, as is most of the rentals within summers edge, however we parked (2) vehicles in front of the property (Nissan Murano, and a Dodge Ram Quad cab) with a little extra efforts. The drive is to small to park larger vehicles as it is community ordinance that you cannot block the side walk. Parking in the driveway was also a little tight even with my SUV. Its by all means "do-able" but at the same time a huge pain the tail. ALL IN ALL... a heck of deal, and a great place to stay within walking distance to one of the most beautiful beaches in the WORLD yes I would do it again.

Stayed at the Brown Eyed Girl in Summers Edge and loved every minute. We were so pleased that the house looked just like the photos provided. Well stocked large kitchen was wonderful for gathering together while we prepared a fabulous seafood feast. The kitchen had everything we needed. This house is beautifully decorated and well maintained. Great lay out. The bedrooms are of ample size and we were very comfortable. A quick stroll had us at the beach and Eastern Lake. Gorgeous dune/lake area. Wonderful for walking. Also, we discovered 5 miles of jogging trails in the state forest directly across the street. Restaurants, bars and shopping all close by. Looking forward to staying at the Brown Eyed Girl again this summer!

Our family absolutely loved our visit to Seagrove Beach and the Brown Eyed Girl! The house was perfect, extremely clean, very well furnished and more than met expectations. This was our second stay in Seagrove Beach and we will definitely be returning next year for Fall Break. My wife and I traveled with my parents and two children (8 and 12). My parents appreciated the downstairs bedroom. We cooked most every night in the large, well appointed kitchen and dined out a few evenings at Cocoon (takeout BBQ..yum), Fat Clemenza's and Pizza by the Sea. Summers Edge is the best kept secret neighborhood in Seagrove Beach. It's very quiet and we loved the two pools for the kids and the short walk to the beach is perfect. Thanks Josh for allowing our family to visit your wonderful Brown Eyed Girl!

Beautiful, Clean Home
Beautiful, Clean Home
We stayed at Brown Eyed Girl in May 2010. The home is beautifully decorated and the layout was perfect for our infant daughter. The home was SPOTLESS- and I am a fanatic about cleanliness. Very quiet neighborhood and a short walk to the beach.

Manager response: Thank you Mase Family and glad you made some special memories and hopefully you wrote a little bit about yourselves and your family in our guest book. We love to read those stories about our guests and the times they have had. Come back to our Brown Eyed Girl anytime, she's yours too now!
What a great time we had last summer in this house! My wife, parents, and my brother's family had a week of complete relaxation in this little cove of paradise. The beach wasn't crowded, and there were plenty of dining options in the surrounding communities. If you desire a more private beach vacation for your family that doesn't involve having to watch college kids drink themselves into oblivion on the beach, this is the place for you. One of the more memorable times of my life was spent in this little beachside cottage, and we can't wait to rent it again!

"We love the location! Close to the beach, tucked in behind the Gourd Garden, so very private; and close to Collaborations, one of our favorite stores. The new Publix nearby is great. Summer's Edge and your home are beautiful!"

Year Purchased: 2002
About: One night in 2002 I was playing Brown Eyed Girl on the guitar down at the beach and the next day we found our dream beach house for sale and just knew she was the one so that is what we named her! I told my son you can't skim-board on a stock certificate and we have enjoyed our investment ever since. We have have so many happy families stay with us over the years. My partner Kathy keeps updating the interior and keeping it fresh and I take care of the rentals inquiries. We have to replace the wine glasses all the time because our guests love to take them to the beach to watch the sunset, but we don't mind one bit! Come stay with us, I guarantee your happiness or your money back! -Josh
Why Summer's Edge:
This dune lake area is unique on our planet, only three locations like it in the world. The park service protects so much of the gulf front and sprinkled between the parks are the most beautiful little beach homes and cottages I have ever seen. So many great little restaurants and fun activities for the family to enjoy.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Our home is so comfortable and quiant and the kitchen, dining and living room area is a great place where everyone congregates as a family. So many wonderful memories are made at Brown Eyed Girl and you will make many of your own!
