I was looking for something unique and secluded for our anniversary and boy I was not disappointed. Not only did it fill the above but the price was right and it was less than half an hour from the beauty of Old Quebec and all shopping. We arrived around dusk in the fall so we did end up in a few driveways but easy to find nonetheless. Heard the "wolves" howling away as we unpacked and I thought that was the coolest thing but found out the next morning there was dogsledding close by, definate "plus" for winter activities. The interior had a real old chalet feel to it and was incredibly large for the two of us, and we could easily picture bringing the whole family, but in the meantime it was veritable playground for us to explore, pretty cool, I cannot actually put it into words. The interior only paled in comparison to the beauty and serenity of the outdoors with the open grass framed by large trees and a meandering creek (surprisingly large) steps away all within sight from the hottub which saw the first snow of the year, absolutely priceless. There is no lack of things to do with relaxing places to read in front of a fire, to pool and darts, all in good repair, bbq, games. I think I would love this place any time of year, hope to go back and would recommend this to anyone. Thank you Tim and Val! :)Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway.
