Let our cabin in Clayton be your hub to exploring the north Georgia mountains. Our expansive outdoor deck is the perfect place to relax and listen to the woods and birds. We are in Bartram Ridge, very handy to the conveniences of Clayton and an easy drive from Atlanta... yet private on six acres.
This cabin is our home away from Atlanta, decorated for a comfy, cozy time. No matter what time of year, you can enjoy escaping the stresses of every day life in this cabin. The central living area opens to cathedral ceilings and floor-to-ceiling glass, allowing for lots of natural light. The over-sized, wood-burning fireplace is a beautiful centerpiece to the room, adding warmth to any chilly day in the mountains. And, just in case you want to stay in touch with civilization, view the 36-inch satellite TV from anywhere in the room.
No Smoking Inside (ok on the deck).
No Pets; no exceptions.
Clayton is a charming town in northeast Georgia - visit the shops and restaurants in the historical Main Street. Yet it also has the modern conveniences of major grocery chains, Wal-Mart and The Home Depot. It is 2 miles south of Black Rock Mountain state park; close to Lake Burton and Lake Rabun. It is also close to Tullulah Falls, Dillard, Sky Valley (NC), Dillsboro, Hiawassee, and Highlands and Asheville (NC).

Clayton is big enough to stay awhile and stay entertained...but small enough to dial down and relax. Being 90 minutes from Atlanta was a criteria as well; easy weekend get-away.

We're secluded on the side of a mountain under a canopy of trees, yet 5 minutes from Ingles (since we always seem to need to run out for some forgotten something).

This cabin was above expectations, and I must say that is the first time that has ever been the case. It felt like someone's private home...not just a vacation rental! We spent almost all of our time on the deck. We saw coyote, peliated woodpeckers and numerous other wildlife. We did not see the neighbors due to our summer stay and a beautifully wooded surrounding. We had a great time checking out the neighborhood and went rafting on the Chattooga River! If you're on the edge trying to decide which spot to stay at then you need look no further! Beautiful setting, comfortable beds, modern kitchen with matching everything (you know what I mean), lovely decor and a view that's tough to beat!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Thank you for a great weekend getaway. Loved sitting on the back deck and watching the leaves turn :). We took a hike through Black Rock State Park and the view up there is awesome; so close by we really enjoyed it. Had a picnic on the top of the mountain. Wasn't quite cool enough for a fire yet but will come back in the winter maybe and try it out! Thanks again; we'll be back!

Your cabin is so convenient to all the litle day trips we like to make; easy in and out to 441. And the little town of Clayton is so cute - must eat at the Clayton Cafe for a true southern small town experience. Also Andy's trout farm; we grilled our fish on your grill - yummie. So glad to escape the Florida heat in N Georgia.
