I spent the full month of October at the condo. You could not ask for a cleaner, more comfortable, better located and equipped home away from home. The condo was even nicer than promised in the pictures and advertisement. Miss Deborah, the owner, is kind, funny, and always available to help. You will want to take her home! The condo was lovely and immediately felt like home. The beach is only a short walk, the pool and tennis courts a hop and a skip away.The whole complex is pet and child friendly. It was a pleasure staying at Miss Deborah's, and so hard to leave. I hope to be there again, soon!

Holiday Weekend Getaway

A last minute decision was made to take a holiday getaway Thanksgiving weekend, and G2 was the perfect spot!! The decription of the property in this listing was excellent, and working with Deborah was exceptional!! She is willing to go above and beyond to make your stay everything you hoped it would be. The townhouse was clean, inviting, amazingly accommodating, and provided everything you could possibly need to feel right at home. A wonderful selection of brochures, maps, recommendations, and personalized tips were provided to help familiarize yourself with the area immediately. We can't say enough about the beautiful beaches (perfect for long, tranquil walks), the historical parks (transporting you back in time), the friendly seaside port (offering unique shops and friendly local service), and the delicious array of casual OR fine dining - all just a short walk, or drive, away! And when you aren't out exploring this beautiful area, there is a nice selection of historical (and present day!) reading selections, games, and puzzles graciously provided by the owner. We felt right at home, and truly had a hard time departing!

Perfect Condo for the greatest beach!

Our family of 4, just stayed at G2 this past July 4th week. The condo is prefect! We had everthing we needed. Having the two bedroom upstairs was ideal. We could nap the kids and not worry about waking them up. The condo is decorated adorable and comfortable. Working with Deborah has been terrific. My husband is a beach snub and Deborah was so great to send me pictures of the beach and sand. The walk to the beach was just minutes from the condo. The playground was 30 seconds from the front door and is shaded. My kids enjoyed playing there everyday. We did go to the pool once and it's very clean and quite nice. I am booking next summer vacation with Deborah at G2. I thoroughly recommend this condo and Fernandina Beach, FL is a terrific spot. You can't go wrong!

My husband & two adult daughters just spent a week at this location and I just have to say that we all had a most wonderful time. The condo was very clean and very comfortable and we absolutely loved it. Our dealings with Debora showed that she is a warm and caring person (with a good sense of humor) and is willing to do whatever it takes to make you happy. We took a short walk to the beach to watch the beautiful sunrises and take a nice swim. There were some very good resturants close by also and we certainly enjoyed the shopping. We would most definately would rent this location from her again and I'm sure we will.

We have been coming to stay at G-2 for four years in a row. We are very glad we found it in the first place and we never had the need to look for another place. It has everything one needs for an enjoyable vacation: excellent location, spacious bedrooms, cozy furniture and, most important, thoughtful and pleasant owner. Thank you Deborah! WOW...This was one of the best places I have stayed in a long time! The unit was just as described and looked exactly like the pictures, only better in person. The location was awesome, very quiet, only about a block to the beach (with great shark tooth hunting) and a few blocks to get something to eat... almost no need for a car other than to view all the splendors that the island has to offer! The pool on the property was well maintained and there is a playground and pond with some resident turtles that the kids really enjoyed! Deb was great to work with, this was a last minute rental and everything went very smoothly... we even had to extend the reservation (thank goodness it was still available) and she made it as easy as possible! Thanks again for the great stay! The next time we're in Fernandina Beach we will definately be staying here! :)

My new husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was very clean and all the basic necessities were there including soaps, pots and pans, laundry detergent, towels, etc. They even left us a bottle of champagne in the refrigerator as a congratulations gift. The living room furniture was very comfortable as well as the bed in the master bedroom. There were also plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas in the downstairs closet as well as a small cooler. Mrs. Powers was very nice and called to let us know that someone from maintenance would be coming by so that we wouldn't be surprised. We definitely recommend renting this residence or others from Mrs. Powers and will hopefully be able to stay here in the future!

Our family of 6 stayed here for my sister's wedding this past weekend. It was just perfect. Nice amount of room. Great balcony/deck. Nice pool in complex. Short walk to great beach. Close to all downtown Fernandina beach activities. Deb was a pleasure to deal with, very accomodating. Loved that there were few knick knacks, just room for all our things.

This is a great location for a beach vacation. The unit is very clean, comfortable, and convenient. Everything we needed was provided, right down to beach chairs, towels, and even toys for our grandchildren. I would highly recommend this unit to other families.

Being a teacher, I am locked into a specific week at spring break. This year our plans were very last minute and we needed to piece together 4 days at one propery followed by three nights in G2. I was not looking forward to having to move midweek, but Deb was so nice to let us move in early so that we would not be "homeless" for 4 hours. We were looking at property this week and found the broadband connection invaluable and the comfortable chairs all with their own lighting a great help. Our little dog was very at home there. One thing that I don't think shows up in the pictures nearly as nice as it is - the deck! It is the width of the unit and quite sunny in the morning. There are 4 chairs and a small table out there. Beach chairs come in all shapes and sizes. The ones in the closet are nice, complete with carrying bags. We usually stay oceanfront, but we didn't feel at all deprived at this property. I tried out the pool and our dog enjoyed getting out of the sand for some walks on the grassy grounds. We walked to Dairy Queen, Shoneys, and of course, the beach. This is, in my opinion, the best part of the beach for long walks. Enjoy!

The folks who are spending the winter in our unit don't have a computer, and they never plan to own one, so they won't be submitting a comment. But, they assure me that they love it. This is their second winter and they have already signed up for next year. I keep asking: "Are you sure you have everything you need? The answer is always Yes. "Is there anything I need do, or add, or change?" And the answer is always No. I won't submit their long list of accolades. Their repeated re-renting kinda' speaks for itself, don't you think?

This is a great location. For those that don't want the overdeveloped beaches but do want to enjoy peaceful and relaxing times, you've found it. The townhome is wonderful; the location is quiet, private, and peaceful; and the beach is truly just a few minutes away. We truly enjoyed our stay because the home is very nice and is all promised in the ad and more. Ms. Powers is such a pleasure to work with; very patient and helpful - our best experience by far on VRBO so far and we've done several. Thank you Deb!!, including the local cuisine recommendations. We'll definitely be back -- and be looking to stay here!

We had a wonderful time on our first vacation to Amelia Island and can't wait to go back! The location of your lovely townhome was perfect and we enjoyed being centrally located as we explored the island. The flexibility with the check-in and check-out times was perfect for traveling with our dogs. We all enjoyed the short walk to the gorgeous beach! We will definitely return!

What a great weekend we had!! Combining two families together in one place was so much fun! And we had all the comforts of home. The townhome was charming, clean and very comfortable!! The kitchen was equipped well enough to cook meals instead of eating out all the time. Even the queen sofa bed was a good nights sleep for grandmother!!

My wife and I stayed here for a weekend anniversary retreat. Deborah was a delight to work with, and VERY accomodating in arranging everything for us as we made our plans last minute. Also, flexibility with check-in/check-out times was a great help! And the price is VERY reasonable! The place is very cozy and well-appointed... we felt right at home. Quite, private, just the place we needed for relaxing and just being together. And for me (the early riser), the short walk to the beach with a cup of coffee to watch the sunrise was great. After two nights together, we DID let our FOUR BOYS (ages 1 - 9) crash our party and join us for the last night of our stay. They loved it, and we spent a wonderful day at the lovely beach. A great stay; would certainly do it again (and probably will!).

we had a lovely week at this condo. with 3 grandchildren, it was nice not having knick knacks to worry with,and not having to worry if the house was locked. In all likely hood it probably wasnt a good bit of the time, The area is quiet, the unit has everything you need, (maybe too many t.v.s) We live very close to myrtle beach and pawleys island, and basically grew up at these beaches. but amelia island has enormous charm, and none of the businesses and traffic, of these two"old" beaches, so go and enjoy. Mrs powers is a joy to work with,

G2 was lovely, bright and cheerful just as you said. We enjoyed our stay. FYI the phone in the living room did not work, but the DSL worked fine. Upstairs phone was fine, though. The kitchen was well supplied but a few more serving bowls would have been great. Family enjoyed games around the glass table. We made lots of memories there! Hope to visit again soon. Good time was had by all. (And dealing with Deb was a very pleasant experience!)

And quick as a wicket, we will purchase additional serving bowls. When you arrived, you called to alert me to the dearth of face clothes in the house. My response was that people must having been eating them for breakfast! No matter, I was off to K-Mart in a flash -- and now the townhouse has a plenty again. Until the dryer eats up some more -- or some little folks decide cotton is a breakfast food!)

My family and I enjoyed the cozy townhouse , everything is in the right place .things that most places dont provide is provided here. it is worth eary penny to spend your vaction here and its near the beach it takes about four minutes to walk . the complex has a very nice pool and playground . my family will be back every year . not only is the towhouse nice the owner is very sweet and kind . thanks Mrs.Debe

This clean, tidy town house is ideal for a long--or brief--stay near the beach. Four adults were quite comfortable here. The kitchen is well equipped, the living area spacious. We appreciated the very short walk to the beautiful beach and the proximity to town's many amenities. The hosts are like family, yet unintrusive. Broadband Web access was a bonus.

We had a wonderful holiday and just loved G2.Your palce is so bright, comfortable and homey. Everything we could want was provided. Our favorite view is the " Rain Forest" through the patio doors. Waking up to the birds' songs each morning is so pleasant. Thankyou!

We appreciate quiet and cleanliness when we stay on vacation. In addition the advantage of being close to shops, beach, great dining, yet still retain the ambiance of a getaway (no traffic). This townhouse had it all! The management was especially helpful and we were treated like family. The beds were comfortable, and the amentities all there - all so very close at hand.
