OUR HOME IS THE KIMBROUGH HOME WHICH IS WELL KNOWN IN TOWN BY EVERYONE. OUR FOUR BEDROOM WITH WELL MANICURED LAWN WILL GREET YOU AT THE GATES WITH LARGE OAK TREES AND MAGNOLIA TREES. OUR HOME IS VERY WELL KEPT WITH NEIGHBORHOOD TENNIS COURTS, LARGE SCREENED IN SWIMMING POOL AND COVERED LANAI WITH A HOT TUB. THE ONE ACRE HOME IS SURROUNDED WITH PRIVACY HEDGES AND FENCE TO MAKE IT VERY PRIVATE. THIS HOME WAS BUILT IN THE 1940S AND HAS BEEN UPDATED. WE ARE WITHIN FOUR BLOCKS OF THE COURTHOUSE AND INSIDE THE CITY LIMITS OF BROOKSVILLE IN A VERY WELL KEPT AREA WITH SIMILAR HOMES AROUND US. THIS HOME IS KNOWN AS THE KIMBROUGH HOME HERE IN BROOKSVILLE BUILT MY MCKITHAN ANOTHER WELL KNOWN INDIVIDUAL.

ALSO CLOSE BY IS HISTORIC DADE CITY; THE BIGEST FLEA MKT OPEN MONDAYS IN WEBSTER ONLY 30 MINUTES AWAY. THE NATIONAL CEMETARY IS CLOSE BY ALONG WITH SEVERAL PARKS. SHOPPING EVERYWHERE. This beautifully appointed historic home was the highlight of our recent trip to Florida! We booked this property after staying at the Valdosta rental in Georgia, which is equally impressive. The listing description cannot fully capture or describe how special this home is. The pictures simply do not do it justice! The antique filled rooms make you feel as if you have stepped back in time, and the experience of staying in such a home is a real treat, vs. staying in any top rated five-star hotel. My husband and I appreciated the architecture as well as the attention to detail in the formal antique rooms. Of course, our children enjoyed the pool area just right outside the casual living area the most, and would love to own such a house themselves someday! Jim and Ellen Hunter have exceptional taste, and you will not be disappointed when booking any of their immaculate rental properties. They are a delightful couple with a kindred spirit, and our family is definitely planning on re-booking this property, as well as others in the future. Happy Travels! Annette Carberry and Family

My family and I have stayed here more than once. What a pleasure! The house is decorated with such charm but you'll still feel at home. The best was sitting around the screened in pool late at night, listening to the night time birds and every now and then...a train in the far distance. A vacation experience without the hassle of Hotel/Motel headaches!

What a wonderful property! The In-laws were in love with the antiques. Children were not used to the decor so it was a wonderful learning experience for our family. Great history behind the home if you get a chance to research it. You will really enjoy your stay!
