We had an excellent stay in this well located apartment. So close to everything and great base for exploring the city. We were 4 women and had plenty of room especially because the kitchen is totally separate from the rest of the place (for early birds and night owls). Much of the place is updated from the photos. There is a "klick-clack" couch/bed in the living room as well as a pull out chair. One of our group slept on the couch and found it to be fine. I loved cooking there-the kitchen is great, big fridge and lots of dishes. The dishwasher is quiet and quick. We did find the dryer to be slow, but I found that if you give the clothes an extra spin, it really helps. All the beds are comfy, and the place is well-maintained. You will like your stay there.

Three of us stayed in this apartment 22-26 Nov 2011 and it was just what we were hoping for. The price was very reasonable and the apartment spacious. Granted, the furnishings were dated and it was a 3-glight walk-up, but these were minor negatives compared to everything else. It is located 3 bustops from Gare de Lyon (you could walk it really), 1 1/2 blocks from the Saint Marcel Metro station - VERY convenient, and a Monoprix grocery is right at the Metro entrance! The owner was very helpful and the rate was wonderful for Paris and for the location and 2-BR roominess. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We just returned from a week in Paris. This apartment was clean, comfortable and in a great location with close access to shopping, metro and good bistros, boulangeries and restaurants. Our favorite restaurant was L'Agrume at 15, rue des Fosses St-Marcel. The free WIFI in the apartment was also greatly appreciated. The apartment was exactly as advertised. I would definitely recommend this apartment to others who are visiting Paris in the future.

Very nice property in a lovely location. My wife and I walked each day to a new and enjoyable location, and found it very easy to locate any venue we wanted to visit. Enjoy!

My husband and two grown children stayed here for a few nights. Upon my arrival I was pleased to find this apartment looking nicer than in the VRBO pictures. It was very clean, well furnished and had everything we needed. The location is nice for walks, and is accessible to stores cafes, and restaurants, and is just a short walk away from the metro line. The owner was very accommodating. I would definitely return and recommend it to others.

We stayed for over 2 weeks in this apartment and it was a great find. It's exactly as pictured, in a quiet yet centrally located neighborhood. We have stayed in Paris before, but never anywhere so charming. We plan to rent this apartment on future trips.

We spent a week in this apartment. And we were very happy with it. We were 4 adults (me - the mother, with my three adults children), and we were all very content with this apartment. It has all the necessary things. Good beds. good kitchen. A little small bathroom - but we managed. All that is necessary to make once vacation good and happy. It is also very quiet. Near Metro. Everything is closed by: The Monoprix, many shops, a grocery shop that is open till 2 AM. In the morning we bought our baget at a nearby Boulangerie, and there are several restaurants in the neighborhood. The owner was helpful and cooperative. We are already missing Paris, the fun we had in this apartment, the togetherness... Jude

Great apartment for a stay in Paris. We're a family of 4 with kids ages 11 and 8. It was well-located near Gare d'Austerlitz with a good proximity to all the major metro lines. Also, close to the Jardin des Plantes and Seine for nice walks and playing with kids. There were some good restaurants and markets nearby so shopping was easy.

Séjour magnifique, nous avons apprécié l'appartement chaleureux, coquet et confortable. On se sentait comme chez nous. Quartier très sympatique on y trouve de tout, tout, tout. Le petit resto Italien à côté est très bon et les serveurs très sympas. "Pizza Lino". Malgré les journées hyper chargées nous avons dormi comme des bébés, lits très confortables et la vue sur la cour est très tranquille. Un gros merci de nous 4 du Québec! Nous avons beaucoup apprécié cet appartement. Nous l'avons trouvé grand, bien situé, tranquille avec des lits très confortables. Nous avons profité de nos 7 jours pour visiter plusieurs sites touristiques dans la ville de Paris ainsi que Amiens, Versailles et Bruxelles. We had a lovely time here, we enjoyed the apartment being so quiet and having that feeling of home. We really enjoyed Versailles although you should have an early start, and plan the whole day. But my favorite was Sainte Chapelle it is just breath taking. Not to be missed.

124 Bd Saint Marcel is an excellent base for your stay in Paris. Although very peaceful,it is convenient to several Metro and rail stations as well as being within easy walking distance of the shops and cafés of the Rue Mouffetard.The apartment itself is a good size and is very well equiped as well as being very tastefully furnished. Many small touches lift it above the ordinary.Christiana Holland
